Colors: Shiny, Touchy, Smelly

Rate this book
Young children love to touch, feel and smell things as they explore the world around them. This exciting new series of photographic books makes it possible for them to do just that as they learn first words and look at colors. Each spread has an area to touch and feel, as well as something to scratch and sniff.

A very visually stimulating book and a great way to teach children colors and object names. Each page is a collage of pictures that children can look for favorite objects within.

I think I bought this for my nephew. Now I found a copy for my son. Even a used copy still has the scents, but just the right amount. Every page could be perused for a long while.

My 7 month old army crawled right over to this book when I opened it up. He saw all that bright red and just had to know more. He also loved feeling the soft touch on the yellow ducking.

From my perspective, I was very impressed that the book is still smelly. This book is a hand-me-down of a hand-me-down. So hopefully, when Oliver understands smelling a bit more the book will still have that sense it can stimulate.
