Zatch Bell, Volume 10
Zatch and Ponygon decide to sneak into school by hiding in Kiyo's bag, but a sudden bout with a common cold earns Zatch a quick trip to the nurse's office. Meanwhile, Kiyo is reunited with Apollo, but Apollo's mamodo partner Rops is nowhere to be seen. It seems that Apollo and Rops had a run-in with Zatch's mysterious and dangerous double, and things took a turn for the worse.

With the return of Folgore and his partner Kachome, and the arrival of a new and dangerous mamodo, Kiyo and Zatch have their hands full - especially when Ponygon heads out on his own to finally find hi partner! Raiku gives readers plenty of fun and action with this entry. Will Ponygon find a partner before he ends up trapped in battle!?

We finally meet another rival for Zatch in Barry as they are both opposites but still respect each other. We also see more development of Kachome and Falgore with some comedic chapters dedicated to Ponygon.

Kanchome, kidnapped AGAIN? Rushka's pretty. How dare they steal her sheep?! Bago and Fredo are baka....Bago ate Kanchome's precious chocolates, ha! Folgore shouldn't be allowed to be hot. It doesn't mesh with his personality. When Kanchome's turning into a person, there's always something messed up with it. Still, it would be a good way to cosplay. I don't even want to see Folgore posing and calling himself gorgeous. And once again Kanchome is kidnapped. We shouldn't be surprised, should we? He's just that way with strangers-you know, anything for candy. Now it's time for Antenna Head-of course, I mean no disrespect to Bari. Gustav's name is cool in the subbed anime, just saying. Russian's okay, but here's a hint: never watch an anime in French. The language is pretty much Folgore-sexual and disgusting (because his voice actor is Hetalia's France). Since Zatch gets bullied so much by Naomi, why doesn't he just play somewhere else? Raiku-sensei sure knows how to draw great anime eyes, and there's a variety of styles. Bari thinks he's so cool but come on, he touhes his antennae to shoot spells...lame. I wonder how that BS rumor about Zatch defeating everyone who came to see him got around...what about Brago and Gofure (defeated by Brago) and Kanchome? The fight with Bari is really cool in the anime-it's like one of my favorite epic fights (besides Brago vs. Clear). I don't know why Zatch and Kiyo get SO upset that they lost to Bari...they let you go, okay, you have to get stronger, not that big of a deal. And anyway, you lost to Brago from the outset, at which point your book SHOULD have been burnt then Brago would become king...but what about the threat of Clear? Well, at the end Brago tells Sherry to drop the book when Kiyo Bao Zakerugas them, so at that point, Brago legitimately should have become King and would have been a good one then. I'm glad that Kafk, and not Doronma, is Ponygon's partner.

The Italian pop star and his mamodo are back for a great story that takes us almost half of the book. I didn't like this "dude" at first but I think he's hilarious now. Then Zatch and Kiyo meet up with probably the most evil mamodo they've come across yet, the strongest one by far too. This is intense battle time and leaves us hanging with what is going to happen with this guy. Then we are back to Ponygon who has finally had it and goes out looking for an owner again with disastrous but temporary results. Just loving this series! It is so much fun!
