I was a Beta and ARC reader of this beautiful story by Lizzie. And If your wanting a book that will make you feel all kinds of emotions this one is for you. Lizzie will make you fall then Break your heart. Throw in a life-changing shock and a twist or two I promise your heart will be put back together in the end. Alice is simply a woman who goes through a shocking breakup and when she needs answers learns she will never be able to get them. Flashforward and she is a single mom who works with her best friend and boss as a wedding planner. Who knew planning someone else’s wedding could lead you to the love of your life in more ways than one. But nothing is ever this easy. this time she has a lot more to fight for and someone ready to fight for her this time

Just Another Broken Heart was my introduction to this author. I'm highly impressed. I received this book, in exchange for my honest review. I LOVED it!! I want to give this book ALL the stars! I'd highly recommend!
We follow the journey of Alice and Reece. He breaks her heart to protect her. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I found myself on an emotional rollercoaster and I enjoyed every minute of it! I was in tears at the end.

I rarely finish books in one sitting but I read this one cover to cover. I got it digitally for free but I knew this was one of the ones I wanted in print so I ordered it from Amazon and it did not disappoint. The cover is gorgeous and the artwork inside the book is stunning.
Now to the plot. This book is one heck of a roller coaster. The book starts with Alice getting her heart broken 😭😭, I absolutely have a burning hatred for Reece. The author makes you feel all of the emotions and I mean all of them. My heart broke and healed again with Alice as she goes on to try to fix her heart after the breakup. Alice is a wedding planner so she goes through all of the heartbreak again when she has to plan weddings for adorable couples completely in love. If you’re looking for a book where you already know what’s going to happen next, then this book is not for you. I had so many “omg 😳” moments and I absolutely could not put it down. Written in a dual POV, you get a look into both Alice and Reece’s emotional journeys. And the ending 🤯🤯.
There better be a second one is all I have to say. Or I’m gonna riot. 😜

I was NOT expecting that, but damn. I AM SHOOKETH. SHOCKED TO THE FUCKING CORE.
GOOD FUCKING GOD. Shit was chaotic as FUCK. All the emotions were running through me not giving me a damn break to even breathe. I could not. But good god, Reece is just gorgeous. I probably would have already melted into a puddle on the damn floor if someone had said that to me. The way he is striving to protect his family and would LITERALLY DIE for them made my heart break but soar at the same time. Finally seeing what went down for Lunara was just heart wrenching. I could not feel any sorrier for the both of them, and how their parents were utterly fucked in the damn head. I wanted to strangle them too, they pissed me off.
The way I screamed at the fact that I recognised Lunara’s name, THE SHOCKETH COURSED THROUGH ME. Considering I had read Not Another Broken Heart as an ARC read before this one, I did not realise that it was going to be interconnected somehow. And BOY, was I happy at that fact, especially as I got to hear more about Alice and Reece. I was CRAVING and in NEED to hear their damn story, not forgetting to mention Leo! And girl… I GOT FED.

Second-chance romances are one of my favourite tropes and Just Another Broken Heart is one that will pull on your heartstrings. Ms.Lioness delivers a heartbreaking, gripping story of two people who seemed to be truly in love until the fated New Year's Eve when it all fell apart. This story had me feeling all kinds of emotions from the first chapter to the last word.
We are told the story of Alice and Reece/Edric, two people that were living a life of love and happiness until the rig was pulled out from under Alice. Left broke hearted, having a life-changing situation happen and then finding the man you once loved to be gone forever. But was he? When your job has you coming face to face with the man that you once loved, thought was dead, only to be right in front of you with the love of his life, or is she?
Talk about twists and turns with the flip of every page. Ms. Lioness had me going from feeling sadness for Alice, to complete anger with Reece/Edric, to holding my breath and finally having my heart feeling all warm and fuzzy. The storyline was beautifully written, the characters were easy to relate to and the secondary characters were an integral part of the plot. All this leads to an outstanding book that is a must-read.

Just another beautiful story
Alice meets the love of her life while she dances in the rain. After a beautiful 2 years, Reece breaks up with her suddenly, refusing to let her contact him again. Shortly after, she finds that she is pregnant and learns that Reece has died on a trip to Turkey. Sadly, she mourns him as she begins her life as a single mother. Almost 2 years after Reece’s death, she leaves her 10 month old daughter home as she and her friend/boss travel to meet a new client needing their help to plan a wedding. As Alice looks, she meets the eye of none other than Reece himself, still handsome and very much so NOT DEAD.
This was a really good plot. If the execution of it or the storyline and language of it was changed just a bit, it could easily have been also classified as a thriller or suspense, perhaps even fall into crime family or Mafia. And perhaps that was the intention of the writer to write it as it is so it doesn’t step into those other literary realms. Despite that, Ms. Lioness did a good job writing a story of heartbreak and the paths travelled that were never meant to be crossed. She uses beautiful language to grasp the agony and heart-wrenching pain of a love lost beyond one’s control.

With a different start an amazing continuation
and amazing suspense that goes with you the rest of the book up until the end.
Sweetness and thrill at it´s best and of course there is some steamy moments too.
Meet Alice who has had her heart broken in a one-of-a-kind story. Alice is an incredibly soft, wonderful character who shows that there is a lioness in everyone when the need arises.
Meet Reese the heartthrob you will get to know better during the course of the story. But with a description that makes you drool and wish you were Alice. Also meet a bunch of incredibly forgiving people but also meet the cruelest of people you can imagine. An outstanding blend in a perfect mix.
If the title doesn't appeal to you, do give the book a chance, it's worth every minute you read it. As I had no idea what awaited me when I started reading it, I was very pleasantly surprised from the first chapter all the way to the end. I highly recommend this book !! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I LOVED this book. It starts off with the love of Alice’s heart Reece breaking up with her in public while he was shooting down alcohol. He breaks her heart to pieces and she escapes to her best friends house. Let me just say I want a best friend like Leo. Leo is a side character but the author really brings his character to love. I liked that Alice was a wedding planner and we got all the tea on bad but hilarious things that happened during past weddings. There was so many plot twists that I finished this book in 2 days. I was absolutely enamoured by this book. It broke my heart but fixed it with all the heart warming moments. If you ever had a bad family dynamic but found a good loving family somewhere else, this would be a great book for you. I also appreciated how the main character was older and not 18 years old. You have no idea how much I appreciated that. I would 100% recommend this book. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

This was my first Lizzie Lioness book, but it certainly won't be my last. I thought this book was great. It had just the right balance of romance and suspense and intrigue.
This is a book about betrayal and heartbreak. Healing. Learning that people aren't always who they claim to be. Protecting those we love at all costs. And about fighting for the happily ever after we all deserve in our love lives.
Girl meets boy. Boy breaks up with girl. Girl finds out she's pregnant. Boy shows up with fiancé. Mystery. Suspicions. Heartbreak. Lies. Deceit. Love. I will admit I thought this was a bit predictable up until the last little bit, but I don't say that as a negative. The story progressed and developed just the way it should have. But that last part really did shock me! It was a great ride, and I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a little suspense with their spice!

An absolutely beautiful book by Lizzie Lioness. I loved Reece/Edric and Alice so much and my heart broke for them both at various times. An emotional read that I could not put down I was so invested in this story. What a journey for Reece and Alice as they are torn apart by crazy circumstances and two years later are brought together again by circumstance. So compelling and beautifully written you will feel every emotion and live every scene with the characters. My first book by Ms Lioness and it will most definitely not be my last. If all her books are of this standard you will not be disappointed. Most worthy of five stars!

I cannot even begin to describe how much I loved this book! This was the first book I have read by Lizzie but certainly won’t be my last. I was pulled in from the first page and could not put it down. Definitely a page turner and the suspense kept me coming back for more. I became so invested in the story between Alice and Reece! My heart raced with the intensity of their love and when their hearts broke mine did as well. Their story kept me on the edge of my seat begging for more.
Lunara, another amazing character in this book, lost her love in the most tragic of ways and I hope that in the future she gets her own story and her own happy ending!

Just Another Broken Heart by Lizzie Lioness is the first book written by her that I have read. It was an amazing rollercoaster ride. This is the story of Alice and Reece who were in love and after 2 years of dating and planning a future together Reece just out of the blue breaks up with her. With her heart completely broken, she puts all her focus into her work as a wedding planner with her best friend Leo, who is also her boss. Her life has totally changed. Alice and Leo are requested to plan a wedding and her life changes once again. The suspense and intrigue kept me unable to put this book down. I laughed, cried and screamed while reading this book, it was just so good. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

I love when I find a book that I can't get off my mind. If I wasn't reading I was thinking about it. That being said I read in just over a day and that includes working and sleeping!
I went into this book completely blind because the blurb doesn't give much information. And it didn't take long for me to understand why! Nothing is as it seems and I loved the ride I went on! I'm not going to say much about the plot because I really enjoyed the surprises! Just know that the love that Lizzie wrote about is the kind that is so intense that you literally can't see them apart. And the times they are apart they are in so much pain you can feel it coming off the pages. Do not miss this book! I can't wait to read more by this amazing author!

This book was just so beautiful, wholesome, and heartbreaking! I flew through this story and probably experienced every emotion there is. Alice and Reece’s characters were written so well and their story was amazing! I was immediately hooked by the storyline and felt so much for the characters and what they were going through. Naturally some tears were shed…okay a lot of tears were shed. In the end (after ugly crying for a while) I was so happy and I absolutely recommend this book for anyone who loves romance with a little mystery on the side🥰

This was my very first ARC! I’m so honored first off, but genuinely this book is so so good!! I devoured this book in one sitting!!! I would recommend this boon to anyone who enjoys single mom second chance romances! This book is seriously the best book I have read this year! This is a brilliant page turner that keeps you engaged from page one!! Alice’s character is so well written and developed as are all the characters throughout. Lizzie paints such an amazing picture of the world these characters live in!

I do not want to give away too much of the book and spoil it for you guys. If you want to have a go and read it i would say yes go ahead, you will not regret it. This author needs more recognition for her hard work and lovely books. Highly Recommended!

This book is so wonderfully written, it is easy to experience all the emotions. From heartbreak to grief to suspense to romance, this book has it all!
After going through an unexpected breakup with the man she thought she would spend the rest of her life with, Alice is left with no closure and no answers.
Fast forward to a couple of years later, she is finally ready to move on and go back to wedding planning with her bestfriend/boss. But when they are asked to go away for a couple of days to plan a wedding, her past catches up with her and she is once again thrown into a whirlwind of emotions.
The story progresses really well, and there were some twists that I was not expecting at all! If you're looking for a page turner with a bit of suspense, then this is the book for you!

In an opening note for the book the author writes about her intentions to evoke all kinds of emotions in the reader, and she does a pretty solid job of delivering. There's heartbreak, suspense, anger, disbelief, relief and more.
There were many twists and turns to the plot, but for me they were all pretty obvious. The whole *why* Edric and Lunaras parents were so intent on them marrying never really felt fleshed out and their families criminal background was all pretty vague.
Overall still an enjoyable read with a happy ending.

let me start off by saying that this was such an emotional, enjoyable and easy read (it’s only 218 pages!! ).
it started out great, i shed a few tears, and the plot was interesting. however, after 50% it dropped, and it kind of fell flat for me.
i wish this book was longer so maybe i could feel more connection towards main characters.
but that’s alright, this book was still good, though. i had a wonderful time reading it.

The story had a lot of potential but didn’t quite achieve it, in my opinion. None of the emotions felt real. Everyone kept crying in the book but were it not for the descriptions of their tears, I would barely have known anyone was upset in the first place. The characters had the most unusual and unnatural interactions. None of it made sense or seemed authentic. The ending especially made me roll my eyes. All that build-up for what? The solution was predictable and simple. On the plus side, at least everyone got their HEA.

Omg! I loved this book! I couldn’t put it down. The suspense was maddening. I needed to know what was going to happen next. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I absolutely loved the ending. You experience heartbreak, grief, romance, and mystery all throughout this book. It was hard not to fall in love with all of the characters. With this one I don’t want to give too much away, but I definitely recommend reading this one!

I absolutely love this book; it was the first book I read by Lizzie. It is a beautifully written story. This book sucked me in as soon as I opened it. There is so much going on that you can't help but be drawn in and wonder what happens next. So much feeling in this book. If you like romance and suspense this is definitely a must read.

I don't know how she can make you swoon, cry, and need to sit in a deep freezer all at once, but she does.
This why choose with heart will have you weak at the knees. Swoony men, high stakes, and the most relatable MFC. I went through every single emotion and was left with wanting more in the best way!
You'll all want to make sure you right this spicy contemporary romance down.

I have followed Lizzie from several taptale platforms. I absolutely love her writing style, and books. I jumped on the opportunity to preview this book. Just Another Broken Heart is gripping and addictive. You will be pulled into the story from the first Chapter. Absolutely, hands down my favorite Author and she never disappoints. ❤️ ❤️

Let me just say, I did not expect this book to take the turn it did. To say I was shocked is an understatement. But I LOVED it. I was on my toes this entire novel. The tears that came with it were strong too, as well as the angst. But the love between these two characters was everything, as was the family love. The twists were so well done, and just really kept you hanging on.

It’s not until she’s finally ready to move on with her life that the past catches up with her. This story will take you through all the emotions with Alice love story, from romcom vibes to shock and awe and hitting some feels along the way. Definitely one to read. Spice level: 2

Just Another Broken Heart was cute, sweet, and a great short read. It had relatable moments and was funny at times.

I gave this 4/5 stars because ultimately it was predictable and there was more telling than showing. At the beginning, it was short and skipped through time to get to the main part of the plot, which, to me, hurt the story more than helped. If the author spent more time on these scenes and at least had a chapter from before Alice and Reece broke up from before, then it would have given the characters more depth. I didn't feel a connection to the characters until halfway through the book and that wasn't much.
I felt as though the characters were robotic in the beginning, but recovered and 2/3 of the way into the story.
All in all, I loved the story and plot of the book, I just think it could have been executed differently.

If the author spent more time on these scenes and at least had a chapter from before Alice and Reece broke up from before, then it would have given the characters more depth. I didn't feel a connection to the characters until halfway through the book and that wasn't much.
I felt as though the characters were robotic in the beginning, but recovered and 2/3 of the way into the story.
All in all, I loved the story and plot of the book, I just think it could have been executed differently.

Now normally it takes me a few days to read a book, however this book was not the case! It was an emotional roller coaster with ups and downs. I was on the edge of my seat and unable to put the book down. This was the first book I’ve read by this author and I got the pleasure of being an Arc reader. I can’t wait to read more books by this author because they are a damn good writer!

Honestly loved this book. I went in not sure what to expect and a few chapters in was hooked.
So happy it has a HEA.
I wish there was maybe a chapter something about Reece during those 2 years. Just me being greedy and wanting more insight ☺️
