A lot of breed books are part of a series and only contain a small amount of breed-specific info. This one is all about bullies and gives a pretty good general introduction, with chapters on history, care, and temperament. It spends a lot of time on kennel and show history, which is interesting but possibly biased and not all that useful to a pet owner.
