This is an ok guide to OpenGL. It's not exactly newbie material as the explanations are hard to follow and need to be re-read to understand what it's trying to say. It's more of a reference guide than a learning guide as the examples are somewhat poor as well.

This book is quite dated now, it covers the fixed function pipeline, but helped me understand and implement scene graph code.
