I love this clever, compassionate and funny book. Get it for your own sake and leave the monks on the shelf.

I highly recommend this book for all new puppy owners. It is smart, easy to read, and full of really practical and useful information. The only reason it lost a star is that I feel it would have been enhanced by illustrations or photos in some places. Still an excellent guide to puppy-raising.
