“IF YOU’RE CRAZY, I DON'T WANT TO BE SANE.”

Elle wakes up in her worst nightmare, held against her will she can only hope her plans have been initiated, how many days has it been since she’s seen Colin's beautiful face, denied any communication she is trapped and forced to deal with her fears alone. A letter wasn't the way she pictured telling him all her secrets but without another choice she can only hope he can understand her reasons to keep it from him
You are my heart , every breath I breathe. I’m safe when I’m in your arms. Where I’m weak, you’re strong. I love you because you have given me no choice but to do so. You took the time to memorize my fears, my hopes and dreams, and you’ll never understand how much that means to me. Please know my heart is in your hands. It's nothing that I understand, because until you I’ve never felt this way... but in your arms you have complete power over me. I love you, Colin.

Everything she believed to be true begin to unravel, how could she not see Ryan for what he was and what he was capable of. One thing is for sure, her love for Colin is real and no one could ever take that away from her. She has to be patient and let Ryan drown in his own lies and pray it is enough to keep him away from her so she can be free to continue the life she's made with Colin and her friends.

Committed was a short conclusion to the 30 Days duet, it started off strong and answered all the questions I had but once that was over with, I kinda willed the book to finish. I am not a big fan of mushy scenes or dramatic displays or proclamations of love so when it started to turn into that kinda book, it slowly lost me. I guess for a boxer I was expecting more of a dominant type but in his words meeting Elle made him grow a vagina, LMAO. Don’t get me wrong the writing is wonderful, it is just a case of it’s not you but me. Regardless I am gonna continue to read what other books the author has written, I really enjoyed her style, I just need a stronger man.

"We had twenty eight days together but it feels like a lifetime. She’s right, without her it feels like I’m being strangled and fighting for air. I can’t just sit here day after day wishing I could at least see her face." ~~ Collin

After Elle is abducted by her husband, Collin is left trying to figure out what his next step is. How is he going to get Elle back? He learns from Elle's lawyer that she was placed back into the psychiatric ward by her husband. She is granted no visitors, not help from the outside until her lawyer can set into motion the plan that Elle put together to secure her future.

As the days pass, Elle is losing hope that her plan will come together. As she braces herself to accept the darkness, she sees a man from her window. As she gets a closer look, she finds Collin. He waited for her, he came for her.

 photo aaa_zpsttghz7vr.jpg

As Elle finds new hope, her husband makes a terrible decision and verbally attacks her and threatens her life. With ears close by, this is all it takes for Elle to finally get granted her release from her hellish prison.

Finally back in the safe arms of Collin, they move forward with their lives together and work towards her divorce. As time passes, and her divorce is granted things are amazing for them.

Day by day, Elle's life becomes the dream come true she has wished for until one final crack blockes her light.....Ryan.

He blows back into her life with nothing but HATE and REVENGE in his eyes. As Elle protects her self from the brutal beating best she can, it is not quite enough. Her body is badly broken from his hate and when she thinks the end is near again, Collin walks in, she knows Ryan will end Collin's life. With all the strength she can, she saves Collin and ends the life of her husband.

Book 2 was the perfect ending to this one. Loved this book and the emotional angst and turmoil. Honestly, book 1 and 2 could have been combined and together this would have been a 5 star read for sure!!!

Colin was one of my favorite hero's to write about and writing Elle and Colin's conclusion to 30 Days gave me all the feels!

BookJunkyGirls- "I love how Larsen puts the story together from the perspectives of several of the main characters making the story that much more entertaining. I have read all her books and highly recommend them."

MartiniTimes- "Colin is one of the sweetest and most committed men I've read about recently. I encourage anyone who loves a Happily Ever After that will make you feel all gooshy inside to give it a try."

The conclusion to 30 days fell a bit flat for me. After such a dramatic cliffy at the end of 30 Days, I expected a lot more conflict between Ryan and Elle. Much of the book was Elle and Colin building a life together, shopping, a flower shop, and what to eat for dinner. *yawn*

At only 176 pages, the author should have incorporated the few dramatic scenes into 30 Days and made it one kick ass novel.

Ok story. In need of a good proofreader. Grammar needs work. I am not reading any more of this author's books because I feel when I pay for a book, I should have better grammar.

Elle is back in the psych ward and she's actually gonna go nuts this time.
Collin, the best guy ever, does everything he can to help her get outta there and happy again.
While they put all the pieces about Ryan's treachery together and work to get on with their lives with each other can the evil of one man ruin everything? In this amazing conclusion to 30 days we get to see how everything turns out, for better or worse.

I don't get the good reviews of this book. This book was not nearly as good as the first one. And it was so short that it didn't even need to be two books. I literally read this in an hour and a half (but not because I could barely put it down). It was probably a money thing; the first one was free and ended literally on a cliffhanger so you felt you had no choice but to buy the sequel. I am such a sucker. I am not a fan of trashy romance novels and that's basically what the sequel was. The first book had romance, yes. But it also had suspense, intrigue, etc. There was a LOT of useless material in this book. Seriously, there were chapters where nothing happened. Nothing except Elle living her perfect life with her perfect man and perfect friends and perfect flower shop that she didn't even have to work for. She literally didn't have to struggle with anything. It wasn't until the end of the book where Ryan finally got what was coming to him. So three chapters in the beginning where she is stuck in the psych ward and then nothing until the final chapter. I literally could not wait to finish this book because it was so incredibly boring. And I hated the switching back and forth between viewpoints. She made it interesting in the first book, but she was also just facilitating between Elle and Colin. In the second book, not only does she tell the story from Elle and Colins's POV, but also Jenna's and Ryan's and Joe's (yes, the lawyer). I think there was even a chapter told from Ben's POV. Ugh. The different viewpoints added nothing to the story and all the voices sounded the same (even the villain's). I have to agree with Ben that Colin basically grew a vagina after being with Elle. There are NO men who are this emotional and this in love. It just doesn't happen. I debated about giving this one or two stars. But honestly there were no redeeming qualities in this book.

Committed, the sequel to 30 Days, follows the story of Elle Parks after she gets kidnapped by her abusive ex-husband whom she desperately tried to escape.

The story stretches on a bit in some parts, and seems too short in others. But overall I like this book. The male lead is of course a heart throb who does and says all the right things and it makes me wish so much that all men were like that. It's a sad story to start out with but it ends happily.

I don't know if I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the first book. But I did like it.

Also, much better on typos than the first book was as well. The first one was almost unbearable and this only had a few throughout.

Heartbreaking and heartwarming in one book!

Thank goodness the ending was as magnificent as it was. I held my breath the entire time until the threat was gone. As a survivor myself I felt the fear and anguish the characters experienced. I cried in fear as the events unfolded. The second book was just as good as the first if not better due to the ending. While I know this is a work of fiction, for awhile it was my reality years ago. K. Larsen captured the emotions that a victim goes through, the uncertainty of feeling happiness again and the fear of the unknown future. Don't miss these two great books. 30 Days and the sequel Committed.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as 30 days. The first book was super exciting and I also really loved the voice, especially from Elle's point of view. I also enjoyed the way it was written in first person, present tense. Anyway, trying to follow 3 people from the first person, present tense in this work just didn't quite work. I felt like it diluted the voice I enjoyed so much in the first book and I often couldn't distinguish Ella from Jenna and got confused as to who was speaking. But overall, this was a very enjoyable read with some super thrilling parts and I recommend it.

AWESOME!!!

It was wonderful how Colin supported Elle through her problems and didn't give up on her. I love these kind of stories about women that have had a tough life and along comes a great man to help them love again.

Loved both of these books, I knew I would probably like them but WoW, did not think I was going to love, When I started reading the summary I said Ok, something light, cozy. But it drew me in to the point that I was up till 5:00AM finishing both books

TBH, I would have paid money for the first book, which I got for free from B&N, instead of this one. It was a long, tiresome trek to a climax that took all of one chapter. By the middle of this book I was completely and utterly not interested in how Elle's green eyes sparkled, or how Colin was the most amazing thing on two legs. I could have also done without him calling her babe every time he opened his mouth to talk to her.

What was with everything being "tagged"? He tagged his shirt, he tagged the remote, he tagged the door. Is it that difficult to say he picked up his shirt, he grabbed the remote or he opened the door?

I wonder if I go and have dinner alone if my HEA will be with a guy like Collin. Elle had a rough journey in this book and I found out the Ryan could be even worse then I originally thought. Collin's devotion to Elle was heart warming and inspiring. This is the best group of friends, you can't help but laugh at them and Elle's love of all things danish.

After reading 30 days it was a must that I buy the second one. Although I was a bit weary because of the reviews saying that it was a let down compared to the first book etc... I went ahead and got it and man I'm glad I did!!! Brilliant characters, a storyline that takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. Brilliant!!

A fantasy

It is the most unreal book, full of situations that dont exist and super corny. The characters seem to like Elle over anyone else, Jenna's only friend is Elle and aperently John doesnt have other friends either or any of them. The first book was good this one isn't.
