Broken Lies
Dr. Daniel Fletcher gives up his career as a gynecologist and goes into the cookie business with his beautiful fiance Sofia. Wow just wow because I didnt expect to read the second book. When I saw it was available. It made my day.
Beside from the hot scene, I loved the story... And the ending was just great but I will have to wait for the final book.
Sofia was kind naive and lovely.
Daniel is just handsome, hoooot and dark. Until the end, the ending the guy was vulnerable.
Seth the baby brother. I will wait to read more about the two brothers.

We get to see more on Daniel's brother Seth, as well as see more about Daniel and Sofia as the days lead to their upcoming wedding.
We also finally get to meet Dara who is nothing like what her pictures depicts. I love that Daniel is so broken in this series, there should really be more books written with the male having demons like this in their past. I makes for not only a heart breaking story, but it make the HEA's that much more happy.

Book 2 of Miss Boone's Broken series finds Sofia and Daniel playfully getting to know each other. Wink, wink. While preparing for their wedding, Daniel learns to deal with Seth, a brother he was separated from at the age of 7. But there's a lot of things about Seth that's not right and Daniel plans to figure out what, and get rid of him. But then none of this would be happening if he hadn't lied to Sofia and pretended he ever wanted Seth in his life to begin with.
Sofia's best friend Dara arrives and Daniel has high hopes of using her to distract his brother until he can get rid of him for good. But as usual, nothing goes as planned and Dara becomes double the trouble that he bargained for.
In this book, we see how Sofia is so deeply in love with Daniel, and how she needs to heal his relationship with his brother and help Daniel overcome the abuse in his past. She is willing to do whatever it takes to help him, if she can ever figure Daniel out long enough to know what that is exactly. But they are all in for a surprise with Seth, and it leaves you having to know if any of them will make it to their HEA.

Aside from all of the intense sex in this book, I kept waiting for the rest of the story to catch up. Finally the last two chapters shit hits the fan and I'm satisfied that it wasn't just an extension/excuse to write a book that's basically porn on paper.
Now don't get me wrong. This isn't dirty cheap smut, but the author set up the series with a very dark and secretive past that has crippled Daniel and now his brother, from living a full and safe adult life. Once you introduce a sliver of information that has potential to become a massive plot and cause all kinds of chaos, it's hard to just enjoy the hotness. (But I managed!)
Long story short. It took a while to get to the main point however, once I arrived I was definitely intrigued and couldn't wait to learn more.

F-BOMBS!!! WHAT A SUPER GREAT READ BK#2 WAS FANTASTIC! THIS IS AMAZING HOW THIS SERIES JUST BLOWS MY MIND ITS SO . . . EVERYTHING! I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD EVER EAT ANYTHING DANIEL OR SOPHIA COOKED (hummmm?) NOPE, I'D BE VERY AFRAID. WHO KNOWS WHAT SPECIAL INGREDIENTS THEY MIGHT BE USING. ;D THEY ARE BOTH TOTALLY ADDICTED TO EACH OTHER, BIG TIME! SOPHIA ISN'T THE ONLY ONE SQUIRMING FROM DANIELS ANTICS (reading some of the things wow!). I WAS CRACKIN UP AT THE THOUGTHS & NAMES DANIEL HAD REGARDING HIS BROTHER SETH. HILARIOUS! I CAN'T BELIEVE JUST HOW CREATIVE DANIEL CAN BE WITH HIS MANY LOVE MAKING SKILLS, THE MAN IS A MASTER. YESsssssssss! ON TO BK#3.

This series is a hidden gem! It's a sexfest, no lie, but the difference is that there's an actual plot, an actual story. I'm invested in these characters and I honestly want the best for them. The dialogue between Daniel and Sofia - so much fun to read.

This story keeps getting better and better. As Daniel and Sofia get closer to their wedding, she wants him to have his long lost brother with him. Is Seth really who he says he is or just a con man? And what is going to happen in Broken Souls? Can't wait to start reading it. Great job Azure Boone on this one too. I LOVED it!

This second part of the story was enjoyable but went off at a tangent a bit. I liked the characters and the humour of it but the story got crazier as it went along.

Well I'm still enjoying the way things are coming along with this series. Nothing spectacular but enjoyable all the same. I think Daniel just needs to have a heart-to-heart with Sofia about his past. Shoot, it can't be worse than what Seth went through. Damn I feel bad for that kid but I kind of suspected the truth already. Just like I guessed correctly that Dara would be a bombshell once she landscaped lol. I'm a little confused though. I know Daniel and Sofia are engaged and the wedding is mentioned, but what exactly is the plan for the wedding??? Guess that's what I'll maybe learn in book 3. Til then... Cheers!

Novella series are a struggle for me sometimes. There's the waiting in between installment and there's usually a huge cliffhanger at the end so you buy the next one. Not the case here. Three installments are a available in a box set and there's no huge cliffhanger in this one. Just a lot of unanswered questions you want the answers to. The story is quite steamy, so if that's not your cup of tea, this series probably isn't for you.

I love this book. As I came to know Sophia and Daniel in book one, I knew I had to read more. The are definitely an erotic couple. Now that Seth is brought in the story, I am not sure where it will go. Needless to say, I'll have to read Book 3. 'Broken Lies' is a great add to your tbr list. Recommended

I liked this book better than book 1. We get to know Daniel a little more. He's the psycho you can't help but love. Jumping into the next book now.
