Rescuing Reya
Utan oversees one of the houses of pleasure on planet Ralen. He does the duty required of him but harbors no desire to find release in a woman many seek comfort for coin with. When his brother asks for his help in finding a small slip of a woman who came from a slave trader vessel, Utan rushes to aid Altan. This novella is hot and dirty and won't apologize for that fact.

Reagan Hawk does it again! Continuing the series with another story about a woman betrayed and ends up at the mercy of the slave traders.
Reya, fearing for her life, takes off and runs as far and as fast as she can before she passes out from being sick. Altan realized that she was his mate and had to find her or he would succumb to the heat. Altan goes to his brother, Utan, to aid in his search for her.
When Reya wakes up in Utans private rooms at the house of pleasures, he soon realizes that she is also his mate. Can he convince her and Alton that the three of them belong together before someone tears them apart?
It is a fast paced, light BDSM, with MFM. Perfect for when you need a little kink.
Each story in the series can be read alone. But so much better when read in order.

Not everyone dislikes the weak
Another great addition to the Beast Masters series. Altan wants only to help Reya, but she mistakes his shock at her lung condition as disgust. Utan has never been swayed by the women in his house of pleasure, but Reya calls to him. Once they overcome their misunderstandings and survive an almost catastrophe, they all manage to find their HEA. I hope there will be more in this series.

This is Utan, Altan and Reya’s story . Reya has a medical condition that makes her feel unworthy for love . So she decides her best action is to run ! Wow this book rocks ! If you love PNR with a hint of BDSM grab this book ! This is well written and I recommend to everyone !

This is another short adult fantasy in line with the previous two in the series. Although I gave it the same rating as the other two, it has a little more meat in the story. I felt like I was reading the same book over again.

This is the first three book in the Beast Masters series. All of the stories contain BDSM elements so if this type of thing these books are not for you. Read as a collection so I reviewed it that way.
Trading Teon... Teon has been accused of a crime she didn't commit and sent to prison, until instead of prison she is sold to slave traders. Garon and Lorne are from Ralen, a planet that is mostly male that need females to mate with or the go insane from the Heat, are soldiers who help those planets that need them. When a slave ship lands on their vessel the men are happy that they get their chance to find a mate. Both Garon and Lorne see Teon and they both want to collar her, Garon claims first husband status with Teon allowing him to share her with Lorne. Teon is not sure what the men want with her but wants to be with both of them. Can the three of the become a family?
Securing Sara...Jaston and Malock are locked in a battle to control the Heating phase so that the will not succumb to their beast. The only person that is keeping their beast in check is Sara. Sara wants them both but refuses to submit to them both. She may be submissive but she still wants to have a say in whether she is claimed or not. She doesn't like how the men talk to her so she decides to go to the House of Pleasure instead. Will Jaston and Malock leave her there or will they be able to claim not only her body but her heart?

4 and a Half Stars
Do yourself a favour and grab a copy of Recuing Reya book 3 of the Beast Masters. This is a short story but it is amazing from beginning to end, I loved it.
Reya had been promised so much but ultimately she only saw betrayal. Now aboard a Voxenite vessel as a slave she is about to taken and sold to whomever her captors choose. Reya has learnt from one of her captors that she is to be traded to the Ralen and becomes frightened as she has heard rumours of how they treat their women and know they will see her illness as weakness.
Utan & Altan are brothers, Utan runs the "House of Pleasure' a place where the men of Ralen can go to ease the pain and rest their beast with a more than willing woman while waiting to claim their mate. Altan is a Ralen Warrior protecting and defending their lands with his fellows warriors while trying desperately to keep his beast at bay.
When the vessel carrying Reya and the other women lands on Ralen Altan is automatically drawn to her as he grows closer and closer Reya realises she is also taken by the warrior and just as Altan believes Reya will accept his claim Reya bolts to the wooded area of Ralen leaving Altan desperate to find her and seeking out his brothers help. Altan and Utan find Reya in the woods but there is more to discover about this timid beauty as not only is she Altan's mate she maybe Utan's as well.
Find out what ultimately happened to Reya and what is the truth of the men of Ralen.

I like the premise of this series and I think Mandy Roth Rocks when it comes to coming up with worlds that are both rough but, immensely appealing. Offering the reader the titillation of a visual where there is a world out there full of viral, hot beast of men who also mind their manners. Hmmmmm....yes!
But, Mandy why'd you have to leave me hanging? I like the full blown story of this cool world you have created. I want to sink my teeth into a story line that I feel I am vested. I want to feel the struggle the Beast Masters are battling to keep it together. I want to meet the girl who has been ripped from her home and survived the slave traders and instead of the bad fortune they are faced with, experiencing their shock and awe at the good fortune that befalls them.
While this series is not bad, it is a Day read for all three (bks 1-3) and will give you a wee taste of something you want more of.... I don't say more books in the series but, more sides to the meat in the middle. Each story is a little vignette of three characters during an event that happened on the Beast Masters home planet. Of the three I read I thought Sara's story the most frivolous or lacking in any depth. Conversely, Reya's story, I felt pulled you in just a wee bit more than the rest.

The third offering of the Beast Masters collection 1, Rescuing Reya, is a winner. She was such a dichotomy, appearing so fragile and tiny, yet her wants and stamina challenged the strongest of them.
Weak and ill, when the ship landed she feared she would be rejected by these beautiful but beastly men, as they'd been described, on this planet. Slave traders had no sympathy for any woman who couldn't bring a price. So she ran.
Altan wanted her--needed her but she mistook his feelings. Utan, his brother, promised to find and take care of her while Altan was away. Brothers should be trusted, but when a woman comes between them is there a way to make it work without breaking the family apart?
It was a bouncing ball of emotions with Reya and the brothers. Overcoming her illness was not the biggest danger she faced. Would this new danger cost her everything?
Even though this was a short story, the author made you feel what they felt and the frustration. There is steam, betrayal, danger and internal battles Don't miss this book or this series. Although the story stands alone, do yourself a favor and read them all.

...like a little sci-fi in their romance.
...don't mind the idea of brothers sharing a woman.
...enjoy their reads fast and dirty.
...want a quick read that doesn't delve into a lot of backstory.
...like menages.
A fast read. Reya accepts that she's been sold as a sex slave very easily and doesn't fight it all that much. Enjoyable as long as you're willing to overlook that.

standalone installment in series book. Has a good flow and enjoyed the overall plot but it would have been so much more if it had been fleshed out. There is one mf adult content scene (has two parts to it) and while it is mentioned that this is a mfm menage premise there is absolutely no mfm action anywhere to be seen.
quickie read that does have a drama slant. As I got this as a freebie I'm not of a mind to comment on the word length for the price but if it's (the freebie slant) meant to showcase the authors writing style I will definitely be looking to check out other works by her.

Each book in the Beast Masters series gets better. I wish that author would go back and rewrite the stories to make them fuller, richer and more in depth. The concept of the world and culture of Ralen really piqued my interest in the series. I can see great potential but the stories as a whole are too short to develop much of the characters or story lines. I liked Reya's pluck when she was irritated. I also loved Altan and Utan's devotion to Reya as well as to one another. I would recommend the boxed set.

This is the third in The Beast Masters series and it has lived up to the 2 other books. This book follows Reya the small weakling of the prisoners that were aboard the slavers ship. She had week lungs and thought she would be killed if she wasn't sold. So she ran.
Ugan and Altan are brothers one a soldier who is close to losing his humanity the other a business man who is also nearing his end. These men so close to the heat have no hope until they meet Reya. Will these 3 be able to save one another? Will a jealous outside ruin it all? Well you have to read to find out.

Thrown to beasts
Reya has weak lungs but as luck would have it that doesn't matter to the two males who see her. Brothers who respect each other, one who is about to lose to his beast. But Reya soothes the beast in both males.

I read them backwards but they were very intriguing. Sometimes I love short stories. Not too long and taking forever to get to the good stuff. This was awesome.
