3.5 stars!

Cute and sexy read. Arrogant rock star meets girl who happens to be the producer of a reality show about his band. Great premise and I particularly liked the ending. This would have been higher if not for the fact that the middle dragged a bit. And I found Katie to be a little unlikable at first. Same goes for Trey. He's too egotistical and liked the spotlight too much. Although they both changed through the course of the book, I never quite connected with them as a couple.

Apart from that, this was fun and enjoyable albeit a little predictable for my taste. I'm certain that this book would be a great read for some, if not most NA readers. Unfortunately, it was just so-so for me. :)

Love

I loved this one just as much of the other books in the series. But I’m going to give the same criticism about having an excerpt I want to know more I thought in each book you will get the other characters from the other books life too. I’m only complaining because I love these books so much I want more. Lol

I absolutely love this series, just like the last one; this one is equally amazing! And I love that this one is connected to her last series as well! I hope that she makes more!

If your as big a fan of the boys of Cold Fusion and this sexy series of books as I am, you will love this fourth installment - Tyler's story. Tyler is your typical cocky/egotistical/selfish rock star with absolutely no plans to settle down. He craves attention and lives for the rush of being on stage and in the spotlight. He surrounds himself with adoring women that want a piece of the sexy rock god and justifies his actions by convincing himself that they are using him just as much as he's using them. He doesn't believe in "repeat sex" (sleeping with the same woman more than once) and craves the thrill he gets from living life on the edge. Tyler beleices he's living the dream and has no intention of settling down. Everything seems to be foxing his way - his bands success is skyrocketing, women throw themselves at him wherever he goes and with this new reality show in the works it seems the world truly is his for the taking. That is until Tyler meets Katie and everything changes. Tyler and Katie connect on both a personal and intimate level and she is the first woman he's met that makes him question everything he thought he wanted.

Up until reading this book, I couldn't stand Tyler. Everything about him irked me. His arrogant attitude and selfish behavior combined with his man-whorish ways made for one very unlikeable character. His appearances in the 3 previous books in this series left me with a bad impression and I have to say that going into reading this book I wasn't sure I could look past all that and connect with him on any level other than he's hot as hell. Fortunatley, Tyler peoves to be a lot more complex than what's on the surface and the glimses we got previously into his character only scratched the surface of his true nature. Once I got to understand him, I felt sorry for him more than anything and wanted so badly for Tyler to come to his senses and open his eyes to the amazing woman right in front of his face. It took a while for Tyler to show his vulnerabilities and open up to Katie in a genuine way but was well worth the wait. I loved them together and admired Katie for getting to know Tyler through friendship and forming a strong foundation built on trust and respect before putting out for the notorious womanizer.

This is another quick and easy read that you will fly through. The other boys whom we've grown to love all make appearances as well. The whole pregancy stodryline with Cassie seemed an unnecessary plot point in the story. After everything that happened between Tyler and Katie before and the obstacles they had overcome and trust they had built, I felt like this added drama frustrated me more than anything. Not to mention I always hated Cassie from the beginning and had thought she was out of the picture for good. Bringing her back to try to deceive Tyler into believing she was carrying his unborn child just pissed me off and just felt unbeleivable considering her previous deceptions. Why would anyone trust a thing she says or does when all she's ever been is a desperate user. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I really hope there's more in store for each ofnthe guys in Cold Fusion and the women they love. For all of them, their relationships have just taken off when the books end and I for one want to see what's in store for each of the newfound couples and the band as a whole as well.

This is deffinatley a series you should check out if you enjoy erotic romance with the whole rock star twist and arr looking for quick and easy reading.

Before everyone starts yelling at me that it is a story about rock stars and it is bound to have some use of illegal substances, I knew that! The reduction of a star is purely due to the fact I thought the lead lady would have had something to say about that use, it never came up. This is the one and only reason a star was taken away otherwise this would have been 5stars all the way.

Ok now my small rant is over i'll get to the story. It centres around a TV producer/executive (not sure of her initial title) who's boss, who happens to be her friend and mentor, fires her in the belief that she has become too comfortable in her role and that she needs to make a name for herself in the industry for what he knows she is capable of. In comes the job that he has lined up for her, reality TV, and reality TV of a rock group no less!

Instantly when the characters meet the first time the chemistry is sizzling and the scene in the initial meeting had me fanning myself and, a bit evil I know, hoping they would get caught out! I could picture her face when she discovered who was with her in that meeting! Anyway they head on tour and the pair become friends but misunderstandings and rock star egos get in the way of what is obviously between the pair.

The ending was, for lack of a better word, sweet but I would have loved for Michael to get his comeuppance for his role in the story, perhaps Katie giving him a good punch or all the guys in the band taking part?! (I have an evil side what can I say!)

This is part of a series about the guys in the band and can be either read as a stand alone or part of the series, for me this was the first one that I had read. I will now be looking at the others!

Please note I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I got an ARC from an author who got it from an author in exchange for an honest review.

LOVED IT! Purely for selfish reasons, you see, because it didn't bore me to death, and it entertained me and stimulated me physically, mentally and emotionally.

I'm glad it's a stand-alone because they do get things cleared up and end up together. ^_^ I think I would've died if it ended with them not knowing what really happend. The character development was great; Tyler realized that sex with the entire female population wasn't enough in comparison to the kind of love Katie wanted, and Katie saw that her career wasn't everything. They both learned a lot about themselves and each other and just what exactly it is that they want in life. The other members were funny with their own personalities, though it's not surprising since they've got their own stories prior to Tyler's.

Overall, it was an entertaining read that hit all the right buttons. Loved the sex. Loved the telling'n showin of a rockstar's life. The drama. The anticipation. The way it was written. I think that if I had to point out any bad things about this book, it'd be the fact that Tyler doesn't have a warning label. :P As for the warnings for readers, I'd say you shouldn't read this if you have a problem with man-whores, illegal substance use (they're rockstars and businessmen, people. it almost always comes with the title), sex, swearing, misunderstandings that create the drama, and illegally hot guys.

Happy Reading!

Rock Me: Sexy by Arabella Quinn (Dual POV Katie & Tyler)

First let me say I have really enjoyed Arabella Quinn’s Rock Me series and I’m so glad she gave me an ARC for Rock Me: Sexy.

Now Tyler has always been the unpredictable one for me out of the group and I wondered what poor/lucky woman would tame this bad boy. Katie was definitely one of my favorite female characters because she was so strong and didn’t let anyone (especially Tyler) get in the way of what she wanted. In this book, our sexy rock stars are a part of a reality show focused solely on them and their lifestyle. The band may be the stars, but Katie is the producer and she runs the show no matter they say.

At first Tyler, loves the idea of being the star in the reality show, but when some information is brought to his attention he begins to see his life as empty. Tyler struggles with the show as well as his feelings for Katie and doesn’t know how to react to both. There were some points in the book I was really scared Tyler would do something stupid to himself, but Katie was always there to help him.

Unfortunately for our two head strong lovers, there seems to be people in their lives that would rather focus on money even if that means tearing them apart. Will Katie be able to overlook Tyler’s man whore ways? Will Tyler be able to give Katie what she needs? And my last question: Why has no one punched Cassie in the nose?

Rock Me: Sexy by author Arabella Quinn is yummy!
I have to say I was hooked by this book before I ever read the blurb. Something about this cover model totally sucks me in, however it was the story that really got me. Who doesn’t love bad boy rockers with a heart of gold? I loved Tyler. I love the concept of the book. The main characters were wicked good and I loved the secondary characters. To be honest the only thing I did not like was that I wanted more. In fact after getting done with this book I looked for others in the series. I will be adding any and all of the books in the series. In addition I will be looking for other books by this author.
As a reader I totally loved this book. There were up and downs but that is real life. I totally think this was a great read. I for one think that author Arabella Quinn is a freaking wicked writer.

i could not really put into words what my thoughts about this one.
i've said before my favorite was the third installment "Crazy".
i'm kinda sad because Olivia/Livvy/Liv/Liver/Crazy, the h of Book 3 did not show up.
I mean Lena was always there with a lil bit of Allie but Liv was just mentioned arrgh.
My reactions for the books were:
Book 1 - "aww sweet. Theme song was maybe this time...2 old friends meet again blah blah"
Book 2 - "woah! difficult to foresee the relationship in the future especially the step-sibling issue and the sex video."
Book 3 - "hahahahaha! very cray cray! my gerd..."
Book 4 - "ahmmmm... hmmm.."

This was a great story, a nice wrap to the band. Can't wait for the continuation of the stories. Tyler is my favorite, showed the most growth within the band. The twists in this story is unexpected and refreshing. HEA with an open end is found in this series. Makes you crave the next one. I would recommend this series for anyone over 18, had erotic scenes, that has an afternoon to spend with the story. Looking forward to more from Arabella Quinn!

This was a sweet and sexy tale, I particularly liked the fact that the author did not describe the physical attributes of Katie and Tyler ad nauseum like so many other books of this genre. Haven't read the previous books in the series but am adding them to my wish list.

I loved catching up with the guys from Cold Fusion. Tyler story had touched my heart. The way he dropped everything to be by his nieces side. I didn't like Cassie popping up in this story but at least Tyler got his HEA in the end.

It is what it is. I won't mark it down because it was quite implausible that this particular rock star falls in love with this particular girl with what we are given in dialogue and story But it's OK.
