Dry Bones

A novella set in the near future; a bleak and dangerous near future. The setting is a Nazi-style death camp. A camp guard is patrolling the wire in the freezing cold night. He sees, or thinks he sees, a movement of the ground outside the wire. Pretending to check his weapons, he looks again but sees nothing. This one incident causes ripples throughout the evil empire of a latter day tyranny. It is just the start of even more sinister and frightening events.
