I was fortunate enough to visit Italy on my 25th wedding anniversary, and I added some of the details of my travels to my fictional series The Caselli Family Series.
My favorite sport is baseball – Detroit Tigers – and I can’t wait until the next time I get to see them play in Comerica Park.
I live for the next family barbeque.
My husband and I currently reside in northwestern Iowa. We have three grown children and one grandson. We’ve rescued two cats and one Pomeranian.
I teach AWANA Cubbies and speak at women’s events.

Great book, with great family values, mystery, adventure, and much more. A must read in Christian fiction!

With much sadness one of my favorite book series has ended. When I started this series I went into it wanted something different to read with no high expectation. In book one I fell in love with Noah’s and Tillie’s characters. Then I met Tillie’s family and others. Then forget it, I was hooked and couldn’t wait for the next book in the series.
This book surprised me with the suspense and whirlwind of events coming together. There is a lot of action throughout this book. Some events transpired that I didn’t expect.
Many of the kids are grown up and starting their own lives. The story shifts into their lives as they are going out into the world. They have strong faith and morals and love being together with their family. It’s a different world then what their grandparents and parents grow up in. At the same time you’re still entwined with the rest Caselli. With all their imperfections and love of family and faith the story is just precious.
Alyssa, Vincenzo’s daughter who is a United States Marshall unexpectedly finds herself in the trenches of her Uncle Marquette’s case with the Ponerello case. This is no regular case as the old blackguard plans on taking revenge against this family.
Now that I have finished the series I regret giving out the previous book in the series because I want to read it all again to fully grasp all the events that began when Noah and Tillie met. Now I need to get the previous books in this series again!

What an awesome end to this series. So much up in the air and all your questions will be answered.
This book starts out with a dedication page and quote from the bible.
Without giving out any spoilers the things that bring tears to my eyes in this whole series:
Religion that holds them all together, large family gatherings, action, adventure, killings, births romance, mystery, mob, FBI and other agencies, travel.
Love that this book puts all the missing pieces in the puzzle for me. Love how all the loose ends are tied in nice bows by the end.
So many secrets you had not heard about are revealed.
List of characters are highlighted at the beginning to refresh your memory. At times this series/book felt like I was a member of the story as it unfolded.
After this story there is an epilogue and special message for the reader.
Other books by the author are highlighted at the end.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion. Going to miss this author's works terribly.

The Truth ~ Salvatore’s Revenge brings closer to the Caselli Family series by author Ta’Mara Hanscom.
In this emotional and suspenseful ending readers familiar with the series will not be disappointed as the author ties up any loose ends. New readers, you won’t be disappointed either, as the author doesn’t leave you hanging as to who the characters are. But, if this is your first reading of the series you’ll want to go back and read the rest. I am for sure keeping my series to read again.
Could Tara still be alive? Will Marquette and Tara be re-united? Be sure to read the Prologue.

What a series! What wonderful characters (and some not so wonderful)! Noah Hansen is one of the main characters in The Truth. It was amazing to follow Noah throughout this series and see how he has grown into a wonderful Godly man. Noah's legal son, Ty, shows great maturity! While the original Caselli children are present in this book, the next generation particularly Vincenzo's daughter and United States Deputy Marshal Alyssa Caselli play an active role. It was a little difficult to keep up with all of the characters but a Cast of Characters in the front of the book helped. If you like action, this book is for you but you will want to start with book 1, The Pretender: A Blackguard in Disguise. I highly recommend this series to others. I received an advance copy of The Truth: Salvatore's Revenge from the author. This is my honest opinion.

Let's start by saying this is, indeed, a very good book. In fact, it deserves to be called a great book! Other than being hilarious, The Truth is a great story on its own...as well as a wonderful continuation of the series. Yes, I said it's a great story on its own, it's true, the author fills you in enough for you to not need the other four books in your brain. However, you shouldn't skip the other books because of this review. They are all very entertaining.
Personally not being one for the Romance genre, I'm grateful this book provides a great read with a little "romance" on the side. This way I can enjoy the book and still get just the right amount of my girly "Awwwwe" in.
To avoid spoilers in this section, and still say what I want, I have a purposefully vague statement: Tamara Hanscom does a wonderful job of putting a pretty bow on one package while simultaneously sending us another to open and enjoy! This leaves me excited to see what's next... And you should be too!
Slight spoilers and girly "awwwes" below this point!
It was encouraging to see a story that demonstrates the wonderful fact: God's got it! You don't have to go looking or hunting for a significant other. Follow God's direction and when it's time, God will make it happen. We may say we know this, but we still need to hear, see and read it. I don't think there can ever be too much encouragement to wait on God.
One more thing, Alyssa's feelings for a certain someone develop without the relationship becoming inappropriate... Another whammy!
I must say thank you to the wonderful author who supplied me with such a splendid read. Keep up the good work, Tamara!
