What’s worse than losing a boyfriend? Losing a rich boyfriend.

Chelsea keeps kicking herself for letting Trip McCall get away in high school. Of course, it wasn’t his millions she was missing—it was him. She basically regrets dumping him for not wanting to make something of himself. Well, I guess he showed her!

But it seemed that she might have a second chance with Trip as they plan their 10-year high school reunion. Reunions: a chance for looking back and to re-live regret. Since high school, many people ended up in a place they’d never thought they’d be. For Chelsea, working as a receptionist was not in her plans when she obtained that medical degree. But will she jump at her second chance?

Is it normal to pine for someone for 10 years? Isn’t it a little insane? Is it even possible?

The best advice came from Chelsea’s grandfather.

“No regrets—now that’s the secret to a good life.” (371)

“Life’s an exciting gift, and you’re not willing to open it.” (497)

The story is smart and witty. A nice, quick romantic short.

What a great short romance story! It’s 10 year high school reunion time! Chelsea Hallman is on the reunion committee and is in charge of reaching out to certain classmates. This includes, Tripp, her now famous and wealthy ex-boyfriend. She broke up with Tripp back then because he didn’t seem to have any ambition. Now it’s her that didn’t amount to much. She thinks he’s trying to show her what she missed out, but she has missed the Trip she knew back then.

This was a very short read at 33 pages, but it was filled with SO much. Scott does a great job of establishing Tripp and Chelsea that I didn’t feel like I missed out on any buildup. I could feel each of their feelings and wanted to yell at Chelsea for jumping to conclusions. I also loved how down to earth Tripp was even though he was so successful. I do wish this was a tad bit longer so we could see these two in the next phase of their relationship.

The best part of this book, however, was Grandpa!!! He shone in this book and had some very insightful advice. I wanted more interactions with Grandpa!

Chelsea had a dream, a big dream, her life was charted out and she knew exactly where she was going. Her boyfriend Tripp on the other hand laughed his way through life - all the way to the top.

Ten years later Chelsea's dream has collapsed and Tripp is back in her life brandishing his millions in her face. Or is he?

A feel good clean contemporary romance about second chances.

Second Chance
Reunion Flirts! Story 1
Chelsea Hallman did not want to go to her 10th reunion of Jefferson High. The girl who was most likely to succeed had failed big time. She dumped her boyfriend because she didn’t think he’d go anywhere and she had such big plans. How could she face him at their reunion? Especially since
Tripp McCall had made it big and she didn’t.

This was super cute and had lots of drama and ended up in love. This is one of my favorite books in the Reunion Flirts! Series by Lisa Scott. The main character should feel how she should! I would! The reunion flirts is great because you get to view many characters throughout each book as the whole reunion carries on. This is by far one of my favorite though!

This is a really sweet romance. I was looking for something short, quick relaxing story, and this was it. I've read other works by Lisa Scott and I was not disappointed. There are no steamy sex scenes, however, it is a really good romance. Plus, it didn't leave me hanging at the end forcing me to buy another book and the story wrapped up nicely. Great writing!
