White House Confidential: Revised and Expanded Edition

Rate this book
Most Americans believe that in the past our presidents were smarter, more honest, and behaved more like gentlemen than those we elect today. "Long before Watergate, Contragate, Travelgate, Nannygate, and Monicagate, our presidents were lying, cheating, stealing, and womanizing."
White Confidential authors Gregg Stebben and Austin Hill. White Confidential is a clear-eyed look at America's long line of presidents, warts and all. Focusing on the qualities that never made it into the press releases, the authors look at the strange family relationships, scandals that engulfed their administrations, fights with enemies, and questionable money matters. The first controversial edition of White Confidential Two new chapters have been added in this revised and updated PRAISE FOR WHITE CONFIDENTIAL : "The authors are superbly gifted, almost facile writers; one might describe them as the Cheech and Chong of presidential history."
Bob Cheeks, IntellectualConservative.com "Although it's far from a textbook, its anecdotes and analysis make for an entertaining afternoon."

This book was really interesting but almost impossible to read on my phone. The format is not meant for kindle on the phone.

It's many sensational stories of the White House; the First President and the First Lady among the value mortals in stories immortalised in the walls of those Georgian arts.

If you are interested to know the truth over gossips of First Family, turn the pages of this book. You'll never be disappointed.

Not a lot of depth, but some interesting factoids for those fascinated with the White House and its occupants through the years. Some of it might be true, a lot of it probably isn't, but it is entertaining.
