I really enjoyed this one. it made for a very good change of pace in the series and, to me at least, seems to speak to other possibilities for the origin of the species. it's entirely. possible that humans weren't slaves but were a vassal species or a species adopted by the V’kit’no’sat in the same way the humans have brought another species up to 'par'. The humans may not have interpreted the evidence in the pyramid accurately at all. I also wonder if this will ultimately result in them having a V’kit’no’sat-like empire by the end of all of this. The Lizard's are an obstacle but they're being set up to fall.
