While Brago and his partner Sherry face off against Milordo-Z and their human partner, Kiyo and his friends race to find the secrets of the moonlight powering the reawakened mamodo! Raiku delivers tense battles and suspenseful adventure with this exciting entry. What is it about Milordo-Z's human that has Sherry so worried?

Good development of Byonko and Penny as they finally get some focus on them as they struggle with who to fight for. Also seeing Laila internal and external struggle with really engaging and I felt so sorry for her which also helps just want to see Zofis defeated even more.

An immortal mamodo from the past? Obvious cover spoilers but great to see Penny and Byonko grow and fight

Oh my! Divine goodness on all accounts! The big battle with the big bad guy is finally here! What everything has been climbing towards for many past books. And what a thrilling conclusion! Almost had me in tears! Reminds me that I love this series because it can get sooooo emotional on top of the great battles and humour. And man is the big boss guy ever awesome this time, well worth the build-up. A huge great heaping of the true meaning of friendship is showered upon us too. Awe and double awe!
