"You know, we've never really talked about what it means that you've claimed me."

Newbie vamp Anja Evans is eager to find out what it means to be claimed by sexy, vampire cop, Bishop. Unfortunately, he’s been transferred by the Order and she’s left to fend for herself. Eager to make up for his betrayal, bodyguard Rob offers a surprise trip to England, but will Anja find her happy ever after taking her place in vampire society? Or will the cutthroat political climate reveal what drove Bishop out of Europe in the first place? To complicate matters, there’s a vampire hunter on the loose wreaking havoc on the streets of London. Is Bishop being overprotective, as usual, or is Anja in real peril of losing her head? Mortal danger aside, the real threat to Bishop and Anja may just come from within.

Eh...bring back Jacob. lol Bishop is boring! There are a lot of holes of logic in the plot and too many things feel like a set up for conflict than a natural part of the story for me. The characters aren't that interesting in general and the world isn't very scary. The Anja character isn't that strong to carry the book.

This was a light, inexpensive read but I'm ready for something meatier...

In this third book of the series, Anja is finally settling in to her vamp life. Her sire has been found and has agreed to stay away from her so she and her vampire cop can build their relationship. She has moved in with Bishop and they seem to be happy. She is learning how to be a vampire, and because of her bloodline, and some well placed lies she has earned herself a reputation as someone not to be messed with.
Unless it's the Order, the organization that Bishop works for as an enforcer. She has no pull with them what so ever. Because if she had she never would have allowed Bishop to be sent over seas to work with the Order's London office. He has no idea what he is to be doing over there or how long he will be there.
Rob her body guard, wanting to make up for lying to her, suggests a trip back to his homeland, and to see Bishop. He is happy to see her when she arrives, but is fearful for her safety. There is a Hunter on the loose in London and he has been taking out vampires.
In true Anja style, she cant resist stepping on a few toes and once again finds herself in trouble and needing help covering up what she has gotten herself into.
She also learns something very important about herself. Because of who her sire is, Jakob, she has abilities that most other vampires do not. One of these abilities has the power to tear her relationship with Bishop into shreds.
I liked the fact that this book took us out of San Francisco, and into a new territory. We meet some new characters, both bad and good. We were left with a lot of unanswered questions. Things were just left hanging. Anja has been offered new opportunities in the vampire community, and once again we don't know where things are going with her and Bishop. I'm getting a bit weary of the whole back and forth thing with the two of them. I'll probably read the next one just to see how this storyline is wrapped up. But I hope it gets better fast. I really like the characters the author has built for us. And I understand the need to build drama and create conflict. But I think it can be done in other ways. Either let the characters be happy together and deal with whatever comes up together, or send them in separate directions and learn to live with each other that way. I really dislike this back and forth drama.

"Find Me When The Sun Goes Down" finds our heroine, Anja discovering her love, Bishop is leaving to go to England. Neither one of them are happy about it, but he has no choice. when he is gone, Anja witnesses the murder of two vampires who were breaking the law. She us disgusted by their unnecessary deaths and is outspoken about it.

Her former guard, Rob finds her and offers her a rude on a private jet to England. She readily jumps at the chance to see Bishop again. Unfortunately, when she first arrives she doesn't get to see him much because his boss tries to keep them apart. Apparently, she and Bishop have history. Before long Anja finds herself in the middle of a political hail storm and to make matters worse a hunter is deliberately killing vampires including one that has been hurting his female companion.

Anja and Bishop finds themselves almost back to the beginning of their relationship where they bicker all the time. At first, I did not like him because of his callousness and in book three I find myself not liking him again. Surely there has to be someone better suited for Anja than him.

There was a surprising lack of action in this edition but it has more than enough drama. The lovemaking continues to be lukewarm and I believe that is one of the reasons for all of the three star reviews. The ending was interesting and promises more drama to come. Read it for yourself and decide.

Book 3...Jakob is allowing Anja her freedom to be with Bishop. Just when you think Bishop and Anja is going to have a happily ever after, he gets transferred to the Order's London office. During the time Bishop left, Anja being the danger magnet that she is, gets herself thrown into the middle of all things political. Anja decides to go to London for a surprise visit to Bishop.

Meet Felix, Warden of the West a cool guy that hooks up with Brigit. A new cast of characters to keep the story rolling.

London Order's HQ seems to be a complete mess and much more strict in protocol than the states. Bishop is too wrapped up tracking down a Vampire hunter to see what's going on with Anja. Basically too much drama, some mystery, insights on vampire politics and seeing what kind of trouble Anja can get herself into.

Anja isn't a very interesting character, but the players involved keeps this a good read.

This is the 3rd book in Forged Bloodlines series. Anja goes to London looking for Bishop. So much is revealed and she discovers a new power which puts their relationship in trouble. Plus there is a vampire hunter killing vampires. There was a lot going on in various setting. A question I had about Rob was answered. My guess was right. Enjoyed.

Anja travels to England in this adventure to surprise Bishop. Only it seems Anja is the one who gets the surprise.
There is also a Vampire hunter taking out high ranking vamps. There is political drama along with learning more about the Vampire ways in this exciting book.

Lisa Olsen did it again, and the series just keeps getting better with each book!

Yep, enjoyed this one just as much as the last one, even though I continued to feel that there were still some personality contradictions in the heroine. Aside from her being pretty annoying at times...

Another great book in the series. Anja grows as a vampire while keeping true to who she is despite her double life. It's refreshing to see her stand up for what she believes in while fighting to protect other vampires and even humans. Can't wait for the next book in the series!
