LOVED IT!!! Ava you are killing me because I just want more and more every single time I hit the last page! *sighs* OMG Leila is seriously getting on my nerves, ugh! I was so happy when Leila's best friend Megan called her out on her shit, lol! Megan to Leila-
"You're not in some skeevy motel because you forgot to tell your boyfriend about meeting a friend for coffee." She laid it out, not leaving one sad excuse untouched. "And as hardcore as your mom is, this isn't about not wanting to face her. You don't want to risk shots of going back to your humble beginnings with your tail between your legs." GO MEGAN! LOL!
Oohhwee as for Jacob..boy was he beyond pissed at Leila! He most definitely let her have it and good for him because she deserved it! Everything he said to her was right on the money! She keeps thinking that she is trying to protect him and she's not. She thought that before and it blew up in her face. Why she keeps thinking she knows what's best for Jacob is beyond me! Jacob say's it best to her-
"Everything is on your terms Leila. I'm not included. I'm a child that needs to be eased into things, only told what you think I can handle. It's bullshit and I'll be damned if I let you--"
She claims that she loves him and that because he's been hurt in the past, trusting people is really hard for him and she wants him to know he can count on her. But it seems like she does the complete opposite. I was yelling at my tablet, "Stop making decisions for him! Stop thinking you know what's best for him and that you think you are protecting him! This is a man who has way more work/worldy experience than you and definitely knows better than you! Trust him and be honest with him! UGH!?"
I am glad though that she finally put her foot down and told Cade off because I don't like him. But she also needs a backbone when dealing with the people in her office like Missy & Natasha.
At the end I was smh saying, "Don't do it Leila! Don't do it!" She is so damn nosey and had no right to read Jacob's letter to his mom. I don't know why she acted shocked considering her behavior of late. Anybody in their right mind would want to make sure before taking that leap! He's no longer sure and she is making him question a lot of things. She has her work cut out for her and I can't wait until the release of book 7. Thank you Ava for another amazing story! =)

"The Billionaire's Secret" by Ava Claire is the sixth part in the "His Submissive" Series and it picks right up where the last part left off, with Leila making dinner for her boyfriend, the billionaire Jacob Whitmore, and telling him about what happened with the action star Cade Wallace. Jacob doesn't take it well. He's furious and hurt. Leila is in big trouble.
In this part, we see Leila begging for forgiveness and trying to regain Jacob's trust. But Jacob is mad, furious, hurt. He can't even stay near her the first few days.
He's been hurt in the past and trusting people is not easy for him. But he did let Leila in...thinking she is different, but after what happened with the movie star, he's not sure anymore.
Leila knows she hurt him deeply. She is sad and scared that there might not be a future for them.
When Leila gets food poisoning, Jacob takes care of her. In the end, they can't stay away from each other and they make up.
But not so fast, cause Leila finds a letter...Jacob's letter which reveals his secret...

Thankfully the author finally turned all the short books into one, but in my opinion it's not worth it. Where this series could be a love filled happy book it's constant drama. I have deleted the entire series after reading with no intentions of ever reading again.

Wow, this tale of Jacob & Leila's romance is just not coming in for a landing any time soon. In this the 6th instalment, we are still sitting on the edge of our seats wondering if they will end up together.
For people in the profession of fixing all the bad or creating the good publicity for the rich & famous, they really are crap of sorting their own lives out. I believe that Leila truly loves Jacob, but does he really love her? He still has questions & with his alpha dominant personality, can he let her into his world.
She really gets dropped into the crapper by people around her. The troubled movie star Cade Wallace with all his good intentions just seems to dig a bigger hole for her to crawl in. I suppose the thought of 2 very hot eligible guys vying for your affections isn't really a problem, is it?
Well yes, especially if you are in love with one & the other keeps throwing a spanner in the works & makes you question yourself. Maybe she isn't quite up to the job as Jacob believes, if she can't control the client. Her heart is still to real for this profession truly. But if Jacob doesn't watch it he could lose Leila. Cade really knows how to say the things that get in her head & maybe there is something there.
Not sure how long this series is to go on for, but I'm hooked. Hope it's not too long for book 7, but there is no way i'm gonna miss it. Praying for Leila & Jacob, for an awesome HEA for them.

Part 6 of this series.
Warning if you haven't read parts 1-5 I highly suggest doing so before reading part 6, in order to get the full emotional effect.
Emotionaly rollercoaster. After part 5 where the photographer took pictures of her that makes it look like she's kissing Cade Wallace we start off from that. Nothing says guilty concious like a meal from his favorite place waiting when he gets home. Leila and Jacob have a fight in which he asks her to leave. Next we find Leila after an all-night drinking where she drunk texted many people. Her friend Megan shows up at her slum motel and tries to talk some sense into her.
More stuff happens we have emotinal highs and lows in this romance from Leila and Jacob. It doesn't help that Cade actually kisses her just after Jacob and her start making up.
Its nice to read a story that is like real life. You have ups and downs and not every couple is like a storybook romance. Its refeshing to real semi-real relationships with general problems, like jealousy, mothers that talk to much, and the usual why did that little omission lie blow up in my face. Hell not everyone can land a rich guy, hince that fantasy aspect, but its still good to know they can have "normal" problems too.
Overall I liked it and plan to read part 7.

This book was the hardest book from the series to read so far, my heart is breaking. This story leaves off right where the last book ended and the photographer got their photo and just how the angle of the picture is it makes it look like they kissed, but she didn't. This whole book is about the struggle Jacob and Leila have getting back to where they were as a couple. There are parts of this book that I feel Jacob is being cruel and it makes me cry. I hate when it appears Leila might be falling for Cade, I swear I cried on and off through most of this book. I loved when Jacob found out she was ill and came right away to take care of her. I was so angry that she went and dealt with Cade when he was drunk and destroying the bar, she should have sent someone else and then for him to take advantage of the situation and go after her, I could not stand Cade. Then the mean girl at the school trying to start trouble by sending Cade to Leila's office, such a mess. When Leila finds a letter from Jacob to his mother, she snoops and what she reads cracks her heart into two pieces.

WOW WOW WOW! I cannot believe this. I am ticked off at most of the characters in this book Leila big time, Jacob and Cade. Leila I am happy finally told Cade "No"and enough, etc. But it seems she may have feelings for him. Jacob is the one for her, so hopefully that doesn't get messed up.I will kick Cade's ASS!!! Jacob I was very upset with when he would use Leila then tell her to leave or he'd leave. Not cool Jacob. And Cade...Boy oh boy...He has issues that need to be dealt with and hope he gets some help, but he needs to stay away from Leila and Jacob. And the letter shouldn't of been a HUGE deal to Leila...After all that's happened. But we will see what part 7 has in store for us! Amazing once again Ava and cannot wait for part 7!!!

This time around Leila and Jacob takes you in a roller coaster of emotions when jealousy and consequences of ones actions take the toll in their relationship but something more harder lies in the background a secret that will bring alot of heartache for Leila lays just around the corner. In this book alot of the things that Leila did or decided to do contradicts with her character and you want to just get in the book and SHAKE her!!!!!!!!

I purchased the entire series and read it as one book (to read them one by one would have seriously annoyed me). I thoroughly enjoyed the series especially the fact that the BDSM was low-key and there was a story and other characters to it (a lot of the books lately are just soft-core porn). Thank you very much for a very enjoyable book that I couldn't put down until I finished the last page, Ava. You did yourself proud. xxx

This installment picked up a bit for me only because of the drama between Leila, Cade and Jacob. However, like everything in this story it seemed to resolve itself quickly and neatly without ever really getting into the depth of the story and its characters. I can't connect with any of these characters and Leila gets on my nerves more and more as I read along. She wonders why Jacob would choose her...I wonder the same thing!
