Preaching to the Core

Rate this book
A study of man's holistic function for pastors who want to preach in deeper ways.

Most books on preaching deal with style, technique or content but this book reaches to the core of the individual, to the heart of spirit to spirit proclamation. Here is an in depth analysis of what transpires from the heart of the Spirit to the hearts of the listeners in words that are “spirit and life." Jn 6:63

I'm not sure I'd call this a book. It is obviously a thesis or dissertation. The language is such that it is certainly a formal discourse representing a tremendous amount of research. The going back and forth between the two part man and the three part man seems cumbersome. The topic is most interesting and well presented. It does make me want to say "NO" the next time I am asked to preach. It is very well done and appreciated.
