Damn! sean really is a douchebag!! just because he put his freaking damn motorcycle in front of her car before the accident doesnt mean he can DO THAT!! pheww forget him avery, let him go... he's not worth all the heartbreak.. freaking leave the town and forget him! that's all i'm gonna say.. and damn mel.. you just a freaking liar and not friend at all... i feel like i'm gona exploode, sean and mel. you both fucked up!

This is the best one yet!! These short stories are KILLING me!!! When is Arrangement 6 due out? I would've smacked Mel and Sean...what a bunch of asses!!

When I first started to read the book I loved it, I loved where things were headed clear up until the point when it was made clear that Sean was going to continue to see hookers for his fix and Avery was going to start having sex with other clients. Avery went out with Henry again I didn't like it but when nothing happened that could tear her and Sean apart or change her forever, then my brain settled down a little but(don't read if you don't want your heart broken, no details but enough)then what H.M. Ward did to me, a loyal reader is a stab in my heart, the worst thing you could have done, this wasn't just a cliffhanger, this ruined the whole story, there is no going back from here, at least with a cliffhanger there is always a way to recover, something was a misunderstanding, or it was with a stranger so it can be forgiven, etc... but the deed has been done and nothing will change that and not just once but many times, so this just tells me there is no way Sean and Avery can have a happy ever after and if you think you can con us into believing that she will just forgive him your nuts that truly is fantasy world, I don't understand why you had to do that to Avery, why you had to make the situation even more sick. She has now been betrayed, lied to over and over again, and she is now all alone. I am so disappointed, after spending all of this money on this series, getting invested in your story and this is what you decide to do, there was many other things you could have done but to try and find a way to make good things come from this without making us have to lower our IQ, good luck but you lost me, thanks alot for nothing.

I'm DONE! I hate to say it, but this serial is just dumb on top of dumb. The heroine Avery takes the TSTL cake. How are you going to sell your virginity through the most supposedly exclusive high end escort service, and still have a car that has to be rigged to start every time? How are you still so broke, can't even afford new underwear to see the same guy, but throwing money back to the customer after services? Why are you still secretly seeing the trick that has you in debt to your madame, with a threat of bodily harm? Why are you dumb enough to run yellow lights in a car prone to shut off at a moment’s notice? Why is the supposed gay best friend coming on to the heroine? Why is the black best friend a super-save-a-ho? Why does nothing happen worthy of 5 books let alone the 20 plus I will never read?
This obviously came out when everyone was thirsty for any old Fifty-Shades-a-like. That is the only reason I can fathom to explain the popularity of this. I was looking in Kindle Worlds and saw this series had fan fiction based on it. Which made me think, "Wow the originals have to be really good, right?” Wrong.

Ok so I'm struggling to rate this book, mainly because I think I love and hate it in equal measures. I'm addicted to the series even though I feel deep down I should give in with it, ,mainly because I really cannot see a HEA at all. I mean come on she is in love with a guy who gets off on "raping" women WTF!! Alarm bells, that's beyond messed up.
I am routing for Sean to redeem himself but the more I read the more I am willing avery to fall for someone else. Henry is sweet, and the way he acted was almost like he was inexperienced which I found kind of sweet, but then I had a gut feeling maybe he was being paid by Sean to be avery's "client" with instruction not to go too far. Especially seeing as Sean helped choose the lingerie for the meeting and added little extras????? What guy does that, he's happy she whoring with some anonymous guy...it's either he doesn't give a fuck about her or he paid Henry.
AND how can she be happy to go see Sean knowing he's just had another women in his bed....seriously love is stupidly blind in this series. I'm going to need a hell lot of therapy.
Which brings me to her early arrival at Sean's:
1) gabe took her there, who is Blacks escorts Chauffeur which means he KNEW Mel was with Sean so she was set up by all involved Black, Gabe, Mel and Sean.
2) WTF Mel...even if nothing has happened and either she couldn't go through with it or he couldn't, she knew about him and his kink and didn't t tell avery. Mel is fully aware of Avery's feelings and has broken the friendship bond in my eyes with what appears to have happened...because at some point Mel had Sean as a client.
3) in what book did Marty admit or confirm he was gay? I always had the impression it was assumed he was gay with the way he acted, but never confirmed. I've missed that, because I always thought he had a thing for Mel.
I'm so frustrated by this series of books but like I say a love/hate relationship - I hate that I'm addicted. I need more of why and how Sean became so messed up in the next book or my patience with it will ware out and I'll be like oh I don't care anymore.

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT??!! WHAT.THE.FUCK.WAS.THAT?!
I've given myself time to process.
I've given myself time to calm the hell down.
I've given myself time to gain perspective.
I've given myself time to adjust to the shit storm that just happened.
BUT...
I AM PISSED. GUTTED. FURIOUS BEYOND REASON! WHY? THE CLIFFHANGER? HAH! That wasn't a cliffhanger, oh no, it was a MONUMENTAL THROW ME OFF THE CLIFF AND KEEP ME SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY TILL I WANT TO SLIT MY OWN THROAT--TYPE OF CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, I can't understand why I do this to myself! Every time, EVERY.TIME a new addition to this book gets released I jump on it and read it only to be left a crumbling mess. But this time, oh, this time I can't believe the shit that went down!
Sean. OMG! Can the man become more of a douchebag? No kidding! He is really starting--no scratch that--he is the personification of ANNOYING. He wants his cake and to eat it too and it's pissing the shit out of me!
He wants Avery. Check. He aknowledges his fucked up sexual inclinations. Check. He knows Avery can't give in to them. Check. But FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Decide what you want! You need help? get help! You can't give her what she deserves? BACK THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!
Avery. Ah, girl, you need to step back and after how this novella ended, I think you have enough ammunition to do it. HE'S NOT WORTH IT. If he doesn't aknowledge how special you are and the way you deserve to be treated, HE'S NOT WORTH SHIT.
And Mel. Oh HELL NO! You did not just do that?! BITCH.OF.THE.CENTURY.
Alright, I'll concede there is a valid reason there, but really I would be fooling myself if I didn't aknowledge the betrayal she unleashed onto Avery. Poor girl. Honestly, she can't catch a break!
And despite this series being so uber-fantastic, I am hoping things wrap up soon because, A. it will start to drag--hasn't but it will, B. My heart is weak and can no longer endure the beatings that are The Arrangement series, and C. These two deserve a HEA--sooner rather than later.
Okay, now that my review is almost done, I've calmed down. A little. Can't wait, CAN'T.WAIT for the next installment!!!! Kick some ass Avery!

UN-FRICKEN-BELIEVABLE!!!!
WoW!!! I mean REALLYYYYY…….I mean I knew it was going to have a cliff hanger they always do, what I can't figure out is if the one from #4 or this one from #5 is the worst, I think number 4 made me heart broken, and number 5 pissed me off.
I mean really, hasn't Avery been through enough already, geezzzzz, poor girl doesn't get a break at all.
She has NO ONE, only had 2 best friends, ONLY, and now one is in love with her and the other stuck a knife in her back.
I mean really Mel, what a friend ha?!!!
And no shit about it's her job either, that would just be BS, she wanted Sean from the beginning of the series, she thought he was HOT.
Still knowing Sean is hiding something from his past, I have a feeling this is another reason why he can't have anything with Avery. Well I guess now, this will wake her up to his games. Sean would be an awesome fricken guy, if he would put his BS aside. I mean he knows how she feels, so does Mel, and they both betray her…..
Poor Avery now I think she is going to turn to Marty for sympathy, right into the trap he wants her, that will suck for sure.
Wonder how much more Avery will be able to put up with in this series, I think the poor girl is about done.
I just hope we don't have to wait to long for # 6.. MAYBEEEEEEE, since we waited so long for #5, we can be surprised with #6, HOPEFULLY within 2 weeks. Enough of the cliff hangers already, this is so un fair, lol

OMG! Really? I just can not believe the turn this series took! I am so damn pissed! I will not give anything away but I will say that Avery is heartbreaking and heart broken in this book ( as if she needed any more crap to deal with)! Sean is a d***. An effed up, crazy, masochistic one at that! I am just.... UGGGGGGG! Maybe later I can hold my tongue well enough to be fair. Just REALLY disappointed :(((((

Wieder vorab zur Serie: Ich bin froh, dass ich die Serie jetzt lesen kann, weil ich die 2,99€ pro Teil nicht zahlen würde, wenn jeder knapp 100 Seiten hat und es insgesamt 26 gibt!
Aber Ward weiß wie man es macht, diese komplett kaputte Geschichte liest sich super schnell und flüssig, macht süchtig und die Cliffhanger werden immer mieser...
Und auf englisch ist das Ganze viel besser als auf deutsch, auch wenn es da doch ein paar Schreibfehler gibt.
Nachdem Sean sich, um Avery zu retten, unter einen Laster geworfen hat, erwacht sie im Krankenhaus. Das heißt sie hat keine Ahnung was jetzt passiert, außer dass noch mehr Rechnungen auf sie zukommen, die sie nicht bezahlen kann. Das heißt wiederum, dass den Job als Callgirl weiterhin braucht, auch wenn sie noch immer Sean will. Und sie wird wieder von Henry bestellt, der mehr von ihr will.
Währenddessen bestellt Sean, die einzige Andere auf Blacks Liste, die alles macht...
Oh man, die beiden frustrieren mich! Immer wieder gibt es Hoffnung und dann machen sie wieder Mist. Mittlerweile nerven beide, weil sie nicht wissen was sie wollen, dann wollen sie, können aber nicht oder wollen, dass was sie wollen, nicht wollen. Dann sind sie wieder offen und denken rational nach.
Diese Black klingt immer mehr nach PIMP und von Mel bin ich nicht begeistert aber das Ende?! Glaub ich nicht!
Dann lügt Marty auch noch...
Ich bin hin und her gerissen aber voll dabei. Und es gab den ersten glücklichen Moment. Yay!

So it's no surprise that I have a love/hate relationship with Sean but my POOR BABY!! Mel that girl is probably the bestest friend any person can have I mean hey I guess it's not that difficult to steal someone's chart and write down their the next of kin right? "Yeah, they didn't believe we were sisters. I told them if they wanted to hear the f***ed up s*** we're been through, I go time. They let me in after that and I brought Marty up. I think I scared that little blonde nurse you had last night." Avery seriously you're sometimes so dumb I want to whack you!! GRRR woman get away from Miss Black! Hell's bells Sean I know you were in an accident and I felt sorry for you BUT that was before you decided 'hey let's piss off Avery because I'm a pathetic excuse for a man' that's right buddy I said it THERE! "What about it? Oh, I don't know. Was it true? Did you just write it so we're even and you could give me back the money I threw in your face? Or was it something else?" I want to scream at him, but I don't. Instead, I take a slow breath in and when I look up from under my brow, I catch his eyes. "Tell me the truth. How do you feel about me? Man up and say it, instead of cowering behind silence." FINALLY we get some s*** from Sean straightened up and the boy grows some balls and says how he feels, Sean now was that hard? I didn't think so, "I don't know how to be friends with you. I want you. I want to have you the way I want you, but at the same time, I can't put you through that. But I need it. Alright, I'll concede there is a valid reason there, but really I would be fooling myself if I didn't aknowledge the betrayal she unleashed onto Avery. Poor girl. Honestly, she can't catch a break!
And despite this series being so uber-fantastic, I am hoping things wrap up soon because, A. it will start to drag--hasn't but it will, B. My heart is weak and can no longer endure the beatings that are The Arrangement series, and C. These two deserve a HEA--sooner rather than later.

Avery is an emotional train wreck with all the ups & downs going on with Sean. Avery has come to depend on her best friends Mel & Marty. They are her calm during any storm. When once again Avery finds herself running from Sean, the unthinkable happens. Sean decides to put himself between her & danger. Throughout the series I'm loving Sean one minute and then in the next I don't know how to take him.
He throws Avery away when she tells him she loves him but then a couple days later he's getting in front of a truck that's about to side swipe her car!!
He's just all kinds of fucked up!!

The thing that pulled me to Sean was the darkness, the enormous strain on his soul, and the reason was simple--it matches mine. Sometimes I feel like we're linked, like our pain is so intense when we're alone, but when we come together it cancels out. Maybe I'm dreaming. Maybe it's not really like that. Maybe we're both destined to be alone.
Marty is another confusing character.
I don't think he's gay.
I think he's crazy about Avery and is afraid of rejection so he pretends he's gay.

I really want to sit here and complain about the horrendous cliffhanger once again, but I won't.. Holly has warned us time and time again that with type of series, there are going to be cliffhangers. I just have to deal with it. But I do have a little bit of this when I get to the end..
Once again Avery is left broken and so the hell am I. Oh Sean, when will you learn? Time and time again Avery has given him the opportunity to tell her his feelings, really make her understand the way he feels yet he won't. He throws himself under a truck for her, then lets her walk away. I want to scream at him, make him understand but well.. what kind of book would I have the? :)
Avery is once again being the strong, level-headed girl that we know and love. She may succumb to Sean's charms once in a while, but on a whole she will not bow down to him without any explanations. So for now, what are they? Strictly friends.. who once in a while watch each other shower naked.
Avery is back to work after the accident taking on more clients. I hate these scenes, Sean doesn't want her back working there, just as much as Avery doesn't want to be there, but right now there is no answer. Neither of them will back down and so for now, they are at a crossroads.
The ending just. Killed. Me. Seriously? As soon as I started reading the scene I knew. I just knew there was no way in hell that could not happen. Ughhhhhhhhh. How is she going to move on now? I have no clue. I am dying for the next book, again.

Wow, I am gob smacked at where this part of the story has ended up. Poor Avery has fallen so deep for Sean, that the heartache hole that she is in might break her. I am reeling with questions why her boss would pair up Sean with her best friend Mel & also why Mel would accept. Not quite sure what is up with Sean that he thinks Avery should wait for him & why she should give him a chance.
What is it that he has done that is so bad? I'm not sure I can wait for the next book, this story is killing me. Avery should just cut her losses, listen to Gabe & steer clear of Sean. She will get hurt by him, she already has been & is continuing to be. It will be how much pain she can take until she comes to her senses.
Henry on the other hand seems to be the real deal if she could just harden her heart to Sean she might be able to get over him. Even though she doesn't love Henry, to be a call girl she doesn't need to. Maybe she really isn't right for this life, but at least now she knows who her real friends are.
One sided love just isn't enough for any relationship. Avery needs to rethink her choices, she's too much of a caring person to do this. She should realise now that she is the hearts & flowers kind of girl. She needs all in on a relationship, this kind of life will only bring her pain.
I still can't get over Mel, oh my, she knows how Avery feels about Sean. Would seem Call girls don't have standards & now we know who the other all in girl on Black's list is! I'm trying to not be in denyal & that the finding Mel & Sean together was not just a trick to keep Avery away from Sean. Just grow up Sean & be with her, if she can possibly forgive you, not sure I could if it's real. Gonna take some talking to get through this one.

This one has seriously peed me off..just when I thought things were getting back on track HM Ward throws another big fat ugly spanner in the works and ends it....argggggghhhhhh

I just hope that whatever is perceived to have gone on behind closed doors, did not go on behind closed doors and somehow it can be pulled back, in my heart of hearts I do not believe that either of them would have done that.

Also hope HM Ward is feeling better and on the road to recovery, I know that she has been ill whilst writing these books and so glad that she could still release and think of her fans!!

I'd had sleepless night ever since early April waiting for this book to be released. I grab it this morning coz I couldnt wait any longer and I just finish reading it.
Overall I think it is ok. not the best out of all 5 books.
It started of with the same "I-want-you-but-i-cant-have-you" dilemma that Sean has and with Avery's lack of courage to turn away.
I am a little bit disappointed coz I was expecting whatever messed up issues that Sean has would be revealed in this book but unfortunately its not.
The cliffhanger however is good. If you find the series seems endless and drag and wanna stop reading, wait till you get to the end.
Its gonna be one very long torturous wait for book #6.

Ok I hate to give this story a one star because I love the plot BUT I hate the way it is being sold. These, what would you call them? long chapters? Make me feel like I'm being ripped off. I paid three dollars for an one hour read, when all I what to do is spend a Sunday concluding a story that I love. Please, please make the next one longer.....maybe over 100 pages this time? BTW just have to say I hate her "best friend". I couldn't stand her before because I always thought she was a major bitch who's humor consist of calling her friends bigoted names, but what she did at the end of this chapter makes me want to slap that skanky face too!

Enough is enough! This is part 5 and another cliffhanger. At 2.99 per short part and still more to go I feel this author is participating in a get rich quick scam. This is an okay story but there are too many good e-books out there at reasonable prices to waste your time on this one. For me the author has ruined this story.

This story is like crack...especially since you have to pay for every 100 pages. Totally captivated but have a feeling the marketing and cost are going to start affecting the number of stars.
