Late one dark evening, a mysterious woman arrives at 221 B Baker Street to solicit the help of Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Watson. She tells them a tale of debauchery such as has never appeared in any tale of the Great Detective. Soon, Holmes is busily untangling the web of deceit spun by a masked man known only as the Gatekeeper...in this, The Case of the Defiled Countess. Graphic, playful, and highly-erotic, this 10k+ short story is perfect for fans of Sherlock Holmes who are interested in some of the more seedier investigations that Watson was never allowed to publish before.
I'm 'almost' embarrassed to admit it, but I bought this book purely out of perverse curousty. I was intrigued by the author's name - Lana Swallows...serously. I had high hopes that her writing would live up to her advance billing and I'm delighted to report Ms. Swallows doesn't disappoint...I was pleased.
The 'Erotic Case Files of Sherlock Holmes - Vol. 1', is a faithful historical representation of the famous detectives, but with an erotic twist provided thanks to the surprising virile Dr. Watson.
As you would expect, the story is about a case the quirky Holmes solves with his legendary gift for logic and deduction. The sexual escapades of Watson are a salacious backdrop to the well written story. Ms. Swallows depicts Holmes, Watson and all the other character in the story, with dialogue appropriate to the time period.
I enjoyed this book immensely and I was quite impressed with Ms. Swallows' skills...at staying true to the basic characterizations created by Sir Author Conan Doyle. I recommend this book to all readers of mystery laced with a hint of erotic wickedness.
Bwahahaha - how did I miss the word 'erotic' in the title???? Unable to recommend to the normal crew...mainly because I am laughing too much! Kindle freebies.........stop with the bulk downloads of the free books. Only going through these because of my OCD obsession with following from the earliest to the latest.
