About the author

The Aurora Adventures is a story conceived by Tommy Rosa based on a powerful dream he had as he was convalescing from an illness. In his dream, the unicorns taught Mr. Rosa the importance of having faith over fear. They told him to believe that he would be well again and to push fear away and replace that fear with faith in God. Mr. Rosa attributes this dream and the messages he received as instrumental in shaping his recovery. The power and message of unconditional love and hope stayed with Mr. Rosa for a long time. When he did finally recover, he wanted to share the dream by creating a story for children that would inspire them to love and to learn how to vanquish fear at an early age. Mr. Rosa and Michelle Christopher, his wife, took the most important elements of the dream and wove them into a beautiful story of friendship, discovery and the power of love and faith. The dream also inspired the creation of the Unicorn Foundation, where both Mr. Rosa and his wife, Michelle work as spiritual counselors. The Unicorn Foundation is located in Stuart, Florida.

I feel so blessed to be able to tell everyone the magical story of Christopher & Aurora.

This story means so much to me because I feel it describes a journey that we all must one day take to discover God's eternal love, the love that lives inside us all. Although, in this case it's a metaphorical example created to help explain this to younger children. I hope that everyone loves reading it as much as I've loved writing it.

I received this book for free from Goodreads First Reads.
It is a lovely story of a boy and a magical unicorn with beautiful illustrations throughout.
My 3 year old enjoyed the story and pictures even though it is too advanced for her, however young children seem to be fascinated by unicorns so it's one story I'm sure we'll be reading for years to come.

The story is one of a lost boy and his adventure with a unicorn named Aurora. The way the book is written is understandable to children, although the font may be hard for some kids to concentrate on. Thus, it is a great book to read aloud for family time with your children.
