Unwrapped: The BareBack Anthology is a collection of innovative poetry from poets speckled around the world who have been featured in BareBack Magazine, an online publication dedicated to BareBack writers. These are people who aren’t afraid to take off their gloves and give the world sincere, unpretentious, honest writing that has punch. Unwrapped is dark, humorous, and sometimes downright strange.

This anthology has humor, wit, and creativity. The THOUGHTS ABOUT were a nice touch. Can't say I loved every writer but there were some treasures: Pornocupia by Howie Good, iWorld by Donna Hawks, and Joggers by Rebecca Halton were some of my favorite poems. Overall a really good collection that kept my interest.
I contributed two poems to this collection, henceforth I may be unbiased to my rating. However, the quality of work lives up to the hype: work that is ambitious and not afraid to undress its symbolism. Expect no fluff here.
I'm in this book so I'm a little biased. Although there's a lot of other great poems in here too. I recommend it to anyone who wants to read some good indie poetry.
I think the collection does what it says, it give you unpretentious poetry from some really good writers. Worth a read if you want to see what's new in the poetry world.
