Reads a bit dry but wonderful insight into Singapore’s economic success as told by the officers on the ground themselves. Attributes highlighted such as the need for global connectivity, passion, the daring to think boldly and creativity and to translate ideas into reality are still, if not increasingly, relevant in today’s context. As the Covid-19 pandemic forces markets to shift and pivot, I take heart in Singapore’s past experiences as well as the most important resource we have: humans, both Singaporeans and internationals. “Knowledge is an asset that does not suffer from diminishing returns”.
