Officer Richardson had it all and it began with his promotion from patrolman to detective for the Lake County Drug Task Force. He always wanted to be a detective and being able to do undercover work was just icing on the cake. Working on the task force wasn’t what Detective Richardson had anticipated. He saw corruption occurring with normalcy. He soon began participating in the corruption, from padding his time sheet to using seized items in his home to making side deals with confidential informants to support his gambling habit. Detective Richardson wasn’t all bad; he helped in putting away a lot of drug dealers and getting a lot of drugs off the streets of Gary, Indiana. He risked his life numerous times as an undercover officer.
Alex H. Richardson’s “Lines Crossed” was a well written and thought out account. There were very few grammatical errors. It was a little dry for my taste and could’ve had a little more action. On another note Alex Richardson is a cutie (smile). I give “Lines Crossed” a four. Good job!
