This book gave information about 100 facts about the Packers. There was information about players, coaches, drafts, stadiums, famous games, things to do at in Green Bay. The book is a little bit old though it was published in 2010 so there really isn't to much information about the modern day Packers. All in all I think this is a great book to read if you are a Packer fan.
I enjoyed the stories in the book and had fun reading it. Definitely a nice trip down memory lane. The problem was that the stories became a little repetitive. When you talk about all of the key players from the sixties, you tend to keep repeating the fact that the Packers won five championships during the era. I wish there was a better format for separating the unique bits from the common history.
Rating: 5 Stars!! (Wish i could rate it 10 stars!!) Review: This book was so good and very informative about the NFL Team and their history from 1936-Present Day.
The author did such a good job explaining everything about the team, coachs and players from years past!!
Definately a MUST READ for anyone wanting to know more about Packers history.
A good walk down memory lane in Packers History. It is written in a series of short sports articles. Ranging from the past to early 2010s. A good read for anyone wanting to review the history of the greatest football team.
Any Packers fan since 2010 needs to read this history of the Packers from 1919 to 2009. The stories of the teams and players from the past is fantastic!!!
I liked reading about some of the historical players, but this would have been a very different book if that author had waited a single year in the writing of it. His smugness regarding Favre and Thompson looks pretty foolish considering last season. ah well, hindsight and all that.
As a fan of the Packers, I really enjoyed this book. The segments on each person/event can stand on their own, so it makes for a good reference book. However, if you read it cover to cover, there is some repetition seeing as a lot of the players played in the same big games.
