This is such a fun book for a parent and child to read together or for a teacher to read to her class. Together, they can try to figure out what the riddle is talking about, but if they couldn't, the pictures would also help them. I think starting with a book like this would help children become more interested in poetry because it shows it in a fun light and allows them to think as well. Overall, a great book for children of all ages.

Eh. A few were clever riddles. Some I didn't think so. And often the illustrations--though interesting to look at (and even a bit bizarre)--gave away the answer before I'd even gotten through the riddle. I guess a good book to give someone interested in riddles, or wanting to know more about riddles.

*Poetry* This book is very funny! It is inventive with the different riddles it gives, but easy enough for a child to understand. The pictures also include the answer if you don't understand the riddle. I would totally use this in a classroom setting.

So this book might be cool for kids, but I don't really see the purpose or pleasure in it. It was boring, the riddles were dumb and the book was mediocre and lame. Sorry if that's harsh but I did not really like this book, or its riddles, at all.

This clever book will have students giggling as they guess what the silly rhymes are depicting. The book includes a variety of riddles that students have to solve. I think that it would keep all ages entertained because the pictures can offer clues to help students.

Another fun book from the library that my gc loved. It contains poetry in the form of riddles and the kids had a ball trying to sove each riddle.

I really like the idea of early riddles. Not enough adults can think through riddles and come up with good answers. This is an early-on book that gets children thinking and analyzing.

Mommy read this to me in the Dr.'s office. I didn't pay much attention, but Daddy thinks I'll love it when I'm older.
