Wanting You 1 and 2 were fantastic. Jason and Celise are a great couple with chemistry that is HOT! I loved watching Celise overcome her fears with the help from the man she loves. Great work A.C. Can't wait for the next book.
Wanting You, Part Two was wonderful. Celise and Jason had great chemistry. You will enjoy getting to know the Carrington and Markam families. Another great read from A.C. Arthur. A must purchase.
A.C. Arthur I've read and enjoyed your books for many years and know you could've done better than this!😌 You dragged out parts you could've shortened and then dropped the ball at the end by not having law enforcement involved where a maniac was concerned! && then no one goes to jail?🤔😒 YEAH you could've done better than that!😤
Parts 1&2 of this book was really good. Celise and Jason chemistry popped off the pages from their first meeting. They encountered a few bumps in the road, but their love endured.
I loved that this was a 2 part series. There were so many twists and turns that it had you guessing who did what at Carrington resorts. I loved everything about this book series.
Wanting You (Parts One and Two) by A.C. Arthur is a great tale that is enlightening, encouraging and freeing. I will review these two together as individually they are incomplete. This is the journey of Celise Markam and Jason Carrington.
Celise Markam and Jason Carrington met during a period of "spreading their wings" for each of them and amid their families disapproval of their chosen paths. Jason is heading and revamping one of the most prestigious hotels in Monterrey. He is fraught with disapproval and doubt from some board member and even sabotage. Celise is branching out on her own to establish her dream of being a restaurateur. Their meeting is instantaneous combustion and their journey is full of mystery, intrigue and happenstances. We get to see if they come through all this together.
Part two was way longer than one. I would have just liked to see the two parts placed in the same book..seeing as how it picks up exactly at the point where part one ended. I liked the plot; was a lil tired of the regular urban read and this reminds of the Naughty series I just finished..well in some ways: successful educated black people doing their own thing..no drugs and gangbanging crap lol. I love the relationship Jason and Celise developed. Even though she was damaged by her past, she found someone who loved her, for her. I like that it wasn't a sappy love story but more passion-filled if anything. These are my first reads by this author and I will def be reading more of her work.
This was better the second time around. I loved this book back in 2007 and fell in love with Jason all over again. Then to find out Jason has two older brothers. The Carrington Chronicles will be great. I cannot waitng for the next installment
This is a page turning series, with fun characters, and a satisfying love story. For those of you who like all of those things combined with scorching love scenes (like me!), you will not be disappointed.
Plot was decent... Too much misplaced sex. Just as the plot was moving along, boom... A sex scene...just because there had been three full pages without one. Didn't leave enough room for character development. Still don't feel like I know the hero and heroine....
