I ordered this book (along with a carb-counting cookbook) for my grandson (age 22 now, but Type 1 Diabetic since before age 7, on insulin since then). I believe that this book and the other book (because he loves to cook) will help him with his health, eating habits, insulin intake, and carb counting (he has always needed to count his carbs). Both books are approved by the American Diabetic Association. He is happily waiting for the shipment that I ordered for him; I believe both books will be of some use and some enjoyment. He will let me know.

A clear guide but like any modifications to your diet, hard to follow through. And so many steps to get going.

Good introductory guide to counting carbs for pre/I/II diabetics. Probably the most handy thing in there were the tables, which I copied and put in my health record.

A good comprehensive guide to counting carbs in order to manage glucose levels for diabetes. It includes very useful tables and appendixes. Not a very exciting read but an educational one.
