This is a must read for leaders and entrepreneurs; an amazing book of proverbs for decision-making. Taking "action" is the central theme, but the book guides the reader to mine for nuggets of wisdom which will facilitate one's growth and development throughout life. "Prof. Jacob Savage, PhD "This book is for those who desire to evaluate their station in life. It helps answer the eternal questions, How do I recognize the obstacles and opportunities in life, and, how do I turn them into success? Dad, on behalf of my sisters and myself, I want to thank you far sharing your wisdom and unique vision of life with others. You have prepared us so well for the future and all of its exciting yet unknown opportunities. I know that if the readers of this book follow your path, they too will find success". Michael V. Roberts, Jr., J.D. (Author's Son)
This book truly sets the standard for the D.I.Y. and "How To" generations! St. Louis' own prominent and elite businessman and attorney Micheal Roberts describes how he changed the business environment of St. Louis. By starting at his own neighborhood, he is building the city into an empire. In this book as he explains the deals as well as the opportunities he faced and how he came to make the decisions that propelled him into one of the wisest and wealthiest men in the U.S. Roberts explains the necessary mindset to take one to task and build on an idea.
Using the "Actionaire" principle, you become defined not by who you are or where you are from, but by what You DO with an idea and what You Did Not Do. This is an excellent read which I highly recommend! I would however caution lending it out, unless you plan to buy another one. I speak only from experience, mine have yet to return.
Action Has No Season was a good book overall. If you're looking for a good read to motivate you as business owner or someone in politics than this is the one to read;especially for African Americans.I enjoyed the read. To read what Michael V. Roberts has accomplished only makes me want to become an 'Actionaire' as he calls people who puts forth action in the book.
