Owned by the Italian Mafia Don is a steamy arranged marriage romance between an obsessive, over-the-top italian mafia boss and a feisty female lead. No cheating, no OWD, HEA.
Contains themes that may be sensitive to some. Recommended for mature readers only.
Usually when I don't like books I don't leave a review, but boy how I wish I had DNFed it. I have no idea why I kept reading. I don't mind it when miscommunication is used in books when it's WELL DONE, but this wasn't well done and the miscommunication was used A LOT, it almost felt like a bad fanfic. Also Ari's eyes changed colors lol Chapter 5: His golden-brown eyes are intense, pulling into my soul for me to obey him. Chapter 23: Ari spits, the anger darkening his cold blue eyes.
literally checked off the boxes for mafia romances 😝 like there was action that kept me at the edge of my seat and the spice was so good, like this man was insatiable that they’d do it anywhere and everywhere. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (the only thing is that there were some typos and some parts were a lil confusing like it wasn’t proof read thoroughly 🫢)
Is this a spectacular book? No. Are the characters mind-blowing? No. Did I thoroughly enjoy this? Heck yes.
Rosie has some intensely hot and cold moments, but her entire life just got flipped upside down so it makes sense. Ari holds a special place in my heart. Maybe it was just reading about someone who knew their love language was physical touch and just enjoying that and having a normal perception of what that means. I just really enjoyed this.
Rosie was annoying as heck and stupid as fuck. But I LOVED the super lovey dovey scenes between Ari and Rosie and how obsessed and in love he was with her. He was so cute with her, despite being a mafia super boss and what not. The kitchen scene? SWOON
Skimmed the rest of the way after they got together. Spice level was 🌶️🌶️🌶️. Rosie was annoying and stupid as hell. 3 stars because I love it when the MMC is obsessed with the FMC.

Idk if this even deserves two stars but ya. Wattpad vibes coming off in heavy waves in this book. The idea was great but the execution was… not so great. Like they were always going back and forth with no breaks, it was really bipolar. The whole thing felt rushed and frankly a little passionless but hey idk what u was expecting from book with this name. Also the male lead had the recipe for a good love interest but I overlooked it in some place but in others left it completely raw, u feel me?? No just no. This is like the definition of a toxic relationship ship. Bro how h go from hating to wanting to be his wife that quickly, and believe me I’m all for enemies to lovers but this was just bad.
This was just a trial for getting over a mini boo slump. I finished thus yesterday but I couldn't update it so here it is
The style of writing really bothered me. The no heads no tails. No start and no end kind of paragraphs had me looking back in caused I skipped stuff I didn't want to
I skipped a lot of that on this though. It feels like pure smut with the plot and storyline as a side thought.
The reason this is two stars is mostly because of Zander who I loved more that aristride I think that's his name. He's funny and the kenji kishimoto in this but the mafia boss type. His lines and scenes had me cackling
“I like your way of doing things, Mr. Milazzo. Fuck, talking, am I right?” Zander asks, tossing his cigarette on the dead bodies. “I never like negotiating and telling a story. You know? Like the people in the movies that hold a gun to someone’s head and just talk about their reasoning or spew their life story when they always get stopped. They wouldn’t have been stopped if they just shot who they intended to shoot, you know? You have to know.”
At the end the ring scene where he's just patting his body not as concerned as he should be had me laughing.
The toxicity I went through in thsi book was too much even for me. At most of the times where they're fighting for apparently no reason instead of trusting each other throughout multiple times made me want to knock some sense into both because it was just stupidity at the point
The self blame part and guilt when Rosie was kidnapped and even before that was infuriating to say the least
The siblings relationship. Both caplan and Rosie and Ari and his siblings who I can't be bothered to remember because thy wre just there. I mean they were heartouching moments not like favourite side charcater who I would cry if they die. But the relationship was funny and good-natured
“No one touches you. How dare they. You’re nineteen years old. Anyone who puts their hand on a teenager is sick. They need to pick on someone their own size.” He smirks, wincing when the cut on his lip opens again from the movement. “Like you?” I point a finger at him. “I might be small, but my attitude is well above six—maybe even seven-feet tall.” “Definitely,” he agrees
But that one thing I loved about the Mc's relationship was the pranks. Those were so unnecessary and probably problematic but they were amazing
And to show him I’m better, I’m currently cutting all the laces in his shoes. When the last of the laces are done, I get rid of my evidence by shoving it in my nightstand drawer along with the scissors
This was a tolerable book. Not my usual type but it was okay. This is just my opinion. I wouldn't pick it up again though

I am SO TIRED of FMCs with no backbone. It’s so exhausting to read about weak women all of the time. Sometimes I understand the weakness and it’s written well, this was not one of those times. Tik Tok got me with this one.
I read the first and I remember nothing other then it being really bad, like wattpad style bad and this one was the same. 😭 The h was dumb and infuriating, pissed me off throughout. But I will be back to read the next books, just because...🤷🏻♀️
If it weren’t for the fact that I now want to be sold to a mafia boss, I might pay attention to the ridiculous number of spelling and grammatical errors
💎𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬: ○ mafia romance ○ no cheating ○ arranged marriage ○ enemies to lover ○ forced proximity ○ he falls first / harder ○ praise / degradation ○ touch her and die ○ virgin FMC ○ HEA.
💎𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: I really enjoyed this book! The story was engaging, and I loved the characters and their journey. However, there are 2 things I wanted to mention:
➤ I'm not entirely sure if this book falls under the arranged marriage romance category or more of a marriage of convenience trope. While there was an arrangement, the characters still had a say in choosing each other, which felt more empowering.
➤ There were quite a few typos throughout the book, like wrong words, missing words, and some timing inconsistencies. It was a bit distracting, especially during the most intense parts of the story.
I am convinced this is written by AI. It seems like the author didn't know their own plot or characters. Rosie is all over the place. She is ungrateful, and plays pranks like a 10 year old. She is mad at Ari for taking advantage of her situation by making her marry him, but whenever he tries to earn her love and trust she is mad he isn't making a move. The girl gave me whiplash. He literally tells her that he wants to do things right as husband and wife and that is why he won't sleep with her, because he wants it to be more than a contract. Two pages later she is like "I wish he would prove that he feels this between us too. But obviously it's just a contract to him." Like... is she stupid? Or did the author forget about the dialogue that just happened?
Also I find it really hard to believe that Ari was the best person to take over for his brother. Attending meetings in sweatpants and no shirt? He was acting way too immature for me to imagine him as a mafia boss.
I don't understand why there are so many horrible reviews for this book. Is it the best thing I've ever read? No, but it's not horribly written, and honestly, it's quite entertaining.
Mafia Boss, Ari, and his brothers and friends are actually quite great. Ari is hilarious, and underneath that tough exterior, he's a total softie. He truly does love Rosie.
Rosie, the FMC, is the only problem with this book. She is an absolute, spineless idiot. Girl, your brother screwed you over and your parents are lazy asses who left you their debt-riddled business to run. Marrying Ari has offered you a life you never fathomed - you're comfortable, your family is safe thanks to him (even your stupid brother), and he treats you like an equal and doesn't keep you in some gilded cage. Yet, you fight him at every stage.
Rosie's defiance and fiery personality gets old really quick in this book, but it's still worth the read.
Haven't read any other book in this series, but if you're looking for an easy, quick read with a lot of laughs, this book is it.
When they had their actual wedding, why was there no mention of his brother Carmine? Surely Carmine, and his wife, and their kids would’ve come to the wedding.
There was no introduction of the sisters-in-law to each other. These are brothers who are supposed to be close to each other. I found that extremely odd that the author would leave Carmine and his family out of the wedding.
I was disappointed, I was looking forward to the brothers wives meeting each other. I was looking forward to her meeting his brother Carmine.
The family is growing, they would want to know each other I would think. Just because Carmine stepped down as the Don, does not mean he is completely disconnected from his family. It’s like they severed him from the family.
That causes some loss in cohesiveness with the story.
this story is your cliche mafia marriage of convenience, and i eat them up every single time. unfortunately, this time is different. the story is there, it’s good and has potential but the book needs so much more editing!!! there’s so many grammar mistakes and it needs to be edited to make it run more smoothly. a lot of scenes and conversations are extremely rushed, there’s also so much repetition! i also think the way the main characters spoke at time was annoying but the writing was the biggest issue. i do believe the story has potential but it just needs a good edit. if it was written better i definitely would have given this 4 stars but grammar can make or break readers experience with the book
The book was literally like going okay then it will go bad then it will go to okay again then bad again. It’s like wattpad standard writing. I didnt like any of the characters. The writing was eh the storyline was bleh. Rosie’s brother stole a jem (come to find out the person he stole it from was gonna sell the jem at the black market cause he is in debt) and was beaten up but on of the don’s men so rosie killed him. The ari came and gave her options which in the end she chose to marry ari. Then he broke down her walls, they had lots of sex. Bianchi kidnapped her. Ari found her. Rosie’s pregnant and didnt tell ari for a month. Ari gave her a ring. They got married and rosie’s brother was there to walk her down the aisle. Her brother joined the mafia.

After seeing so many reels made for this book, I finally picked it up and oh god, I'm so glad i did.
I've found my type and it's cinnamon roll dangerous men who have humour, kindness and have their heart ready to give but would burn the ground and rebuild it just for me... yeah yeah wishful thinking but hey, Ari is totally my type and I'm in love with him, 101% in love.
Honestly Rosie's personality is freaking amazing, she's fire and sass which makes her admirable despite her stupid decisions a few times.
Ari and Rosie are the perfect match, she's fire and he's the one that can live with it, tame it and burn in it.💗🔥🏃🏻♀️🫶🏼
I loved Rosie and her love for her brother. I wish we got to see a bit more of their relationship after he comes back and starts working for Ari. It was so sweet for Ari to give Rosie to opportunity to see her family before he sent them away for safety, and that he brought her brother back for the wedding. The engagement ring being made out of the gem that brought them together was perfection. Good spice/smut. Loved how protective Ari was of Rosie. I do wish we got to see Ari put her parents in their place after what they put Rosie through.
This book OH MY GOD. I LOVED THIS BOOK EVERY SINGLE SECOND WHY IS THIS AUTHOR SO UNDERRATED ( sorry for the caps too excited). Loved the book every second the smutt is 10/10. I haven't read such book with good smutt and that amount of smutt. The mmc is just everything you want, mafia guy. He is dark yet not too dark has a sad past but loves his family and his new wife or you could say his new obsession. The fmc is just spectacular loved her comeback every second love love. This is just the book you have to read if you want to get out of reading slump. Smutt 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🤭
Ari already is getting used to being a Don. His enemy asks him for a favor (incredible), but things go wrong when he sees our beautiful heroine Rosie to enter the club he is in. And from there, this man is doomed to fall in love. But he not only falls, NO he wants baby and marriage from her. And he won't take no for an answer. Do I have to say that I adored this, or... is it obvious.
i honestly liked this book , it had a weird start too it but it was so good , it had the perfect amount of love and smut but also it was action packed and it didn’t seem to have any dragging chapters
i thought it was so funny and adorable that rose can tell the difference between the twins but i also thought it was adorable that they lead the mafia but they still make sure to always play battleship together 😂😂 so cute !!

I really enjoyed the book, usually i don't read books with many reviews because i can't see people opinions about the book to see if its worth it or not. BUUUUT LET ME TELL U GIRLIES. This book is spicy, the mmc has a really dirty mouth, if you enjoy an italian man who calls you tesoro and enjoy to f hard Everywhere and anywhere this is for you.
This book was good. Rosie is stupid and naive af. I mean the stone caused so many problems for her and Ari yet she insisted on keeping it?? I really feel if she actually thought with her brain half the crap that happened could’ve been avoided. I also thought it was weird how the gem brought such negativity into her life and they chose it to be her wedding ring.
However Ari was a star and completely loveable. The chemistry between the two was fantastic.
MMC is around late thirties / early forties if I remember correctly. Acts like a fresh 18 yo. FMC is petulant, suposedly responsible for her parents and brother's well being but honnestly, idk how they survived this long with her being so...... dumb in terms of decision making... Steamy parts were okay I guess.
mafia romance no cheating HEA alpha-hole arranged marriage enemies to lover forced proximity found family he falls first / harder praise / degradation touch her and die virgin FMC
