Blessed to Survive - The Thanksgiving Day Massacre

Rate this book
Imagine waking from a three-month coma unable to move a single muscle after being shot three months earlier. A week into recovery, while in the ICU, you learn that your wife was also murdered during what has become internationally known as the Thanksgiving Day Massacre. Imagine living, grieving, unable to communicate; and like a baby, needing to learn how to speak, walk, tie your shoes, write . . . everything. For Patrick Knight, he lived it. He survived it through God-given strength. Blessed to Survive takes the reader from the moment Patrick opened his eyes to his full recovery. The book recounts the events that lead up to the massacre and describes the shooting. The stories, analogies, pragmatic tips and strategies along with a bit of humor and tough love, are offered in hopes that this book will help others overcome their adversity and perhaps, like Patrick, move forward, and find happiness again in a new life.
