I found this book a bit outdated, and I don’t think that back to 2014 when it was written the author estimated correctly the potential of each social network he was talking about.
I didn’t have enough information about Instagram, I wanted to read about it more. It would have been great, is the author had created an infographics or something with navigation about which social networks work to which types of businesses.
It’s a bit wordy and weirdly structured.
It’s written boringly, like a school book, even though the subject is very dynamic.
The only good insight was about Google + and how it affects SEO.

read for class's assignment... don't enjoy it much. but the idea that analyzing your competitors' social media accounts as baselines for your metrics and good examples is brilliant.

This book is a good how-to book for social media. Although the information is good, it is geared towards businesses and reads like a business book, jargon included. I did take away one valuable insight from this book: Before you craft your blog posts, use the Google Recommends feature to see what information people ask Google to find on the subject you plan to write about.

This is a good book for people who are not related to marketing. Given information can be found by reading a few social media related blogs or watching tutorials/ webinars, presented by the respective social media platforms. It will be great to have more cases to showcase PDCA approach "in action" that the author describes.

Took away some new ideas. Best suited to newcomers, and those in people in your organization who're still in need of convincing.
