War was coming, He just didn't know it. Eckhart newly commissioned in the Earth Union was just getting comfortable. Then one day a stowaway changed everything. Eckhart is thrown into a secret mission leading to much more he ever wanted to be involved in. Lightyears from home stuck with an A.I. and old comrades. They try and prevent a war from starting. What bothered him the most is he didn't know if he would make it out whole or in pieces.

Jacob L. White lives in the great state of Texas with two noisy children he loves very much. He started writing in 2005 but never got past the first outline of a book until decades later — the worlds he meant to share kept sitting in the back of his mind, asking.
