This behemoth of a book (really a manual for physicians and counselors) has a lot of really interesting and applicable information. As it was of course designed for practitioners, I struggled to analyze and sift through information. I’m still on the lookout for newer approaches to pain management, but this provided a really good foundation. I think I ended up having 30+ pages of notes. It’s important to note though that nothing can really replace the experience and expertise of a professional.
