Dear Son: Moral of My Story

Too often the stories from our lives aren't passed to the next generation. When I found out in 2009 that my wife was pregnant with our first child, I decided to record some of my amazing life experiences so that my son would be able to read them. My format was inspired by the late Randy Pausch, who authored "The Last Lecture" after his terminal cancer diagnosis. May his legacy continue to inspire others, and may a few people, including my son, learn a lesson or two from the moral of my stories.

Was That Thunder? is Greg Kalkwarf's first published book. He resides with his family in the mountains outside of Denver, Colorado. When not running or hiking, he is probably watching a baseball game. A Nebraska native, Greg has completed ten marathons in Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts and Nebraska.
