About the author

Robert Glicksman is the J.B. & Maurice C. Shapiro Professor of Environmental Law at the George Washington University Law School. He is a nationally and internationally recognized expert on environmental, natural resources, and administrative law. He has published numerous books, either alone or with various co-authors, including Reorganizing Government: A Functional and Dimensional Framework (NYU Press 2019), Modern Public Land Law in a Nutshell (5th ed. West Academic 2019), Environmental Protection: Law and Policy (8th ed. I wish it focused more on teaching what we need to know and less on citing every article on the subject. Very dense, short descriptions of squib cases and lots of citations detracted from the pedagogical value of a textbook.

From a class taught by one of the most dynamic and determined teachers I've ever met. R.I.P Dr. Bryner...we'll keep championing the environment in your memory.
