When not daydreaming or writing about a romantic heroes and heroines, Renee spends her time reading, traveling and taking care of the great loves in her life, her husband and son. Married for twenty-eight years to her college sweetheart, she uses him as inspiration for her strong silent-type heroes.
Since a small child, she has been an avid reader and daydreamer. With stories, flashing through her head, she knew she should put these stories on paper.
One of the first books she read was I Know Why the Cage Bird Sings. A book that changed her life and stirred up the desire to write. A classmate gave her the first romance book, a harlequin romance, in 10th grade Biology class. Since then, she has been hooked. She writes suspense, mystery and romance and feels that these genres cover all of her creative flows.
Renee is a member of the Valley Forge Chapter of Romance Writers of America. She began writing poetry and keeping a journal at thirteen and wrote her first play in 9th grade creative writing class.
In 2007, Renee decided to try her hand at writing professionally, and submitted pieces of work for critique at the Philadelphia Writers Conference. The feedback was critical in helping her to make a decision to pursue a career in writing.
She is currently working on three novels and a short story.
