Amid scandal in the MMA world, a nihilistic veteran turned bouncer trains an impoverished young fighter set up as the fall guy. When the good choices run out, there isn't time for the grossly inappropriate and intense heat between them, but as danger mounts neither can walk away.
Kinky, queer, erotic romance writer here. I'm a huge fan of writing about the ways in which we use kink to create our own narratives and relate to others.
I was the kid who got in trouble at school for writing steamy stories on notebook paper folded into those tight triangular footballs for ease of passing around in the halls. I wrote everything from lemons, to sexy dreams, to the choose-your-own adventure sexcapades.
Now I write steamy romance, because sometimes, it's really beautiful when an intense chemistry leads to a happily ever after (or at least a happy for now).
I can't promise you that my characters will make good choices, but I can promise you a surprisingly thoughtful and wild ride.
Lots of lovin’ in this age-gap gay romance This author knows how to bring on the lusty feelings in her characters. In this gay romance between two lost guys, we get a lot of angst, intrigue, and most definitely lust to love. Evan Draper is a former Marine who is currently working as a bouncer at a club where he befriends Alyssa a transwoman. During the rescue of Alyssa from a jerk in the alley, he meets her roommate, Troy Afalava who is training to be an MMA fighter and is showing his prowess at that moment in that alley. As a former professional Dom, he takes the lead when the police show up. So much happens from that moment on it keeps the reader quite busy. There is a sub-plot that Troy is unwittingly a part of. Evan likes Troy but there is a considerable age difference; just guessing between 15 and 20 years. Could Troy really go for Evan? Both men suffer from self-doubts. The author ties up everything neatly at the end. You will not be disappointed if you like angsty, lusty gay romance. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through BookSirens. Love the cover too.
This was such a dirty short book. The spice was definitely there.
Even if this is a short length story I loved how the author managed to keep you intrigued with the plot, the suspense was top and I couldn’t stop reading, I really needed to know how it would end. And it ended amazingly.
Troy and Evan relationship was a tornado, they couldn’t stop getting back together even if they didn’t want it. Loved the angst 😈.
I would like to thank BookSirens and the author for providing me an early copy.
