Marii Solaria is an African American woman born and raised in Chicago, Illinois in the wonderful neighborhood of Uptown to Malian immigrants. She is the second child out of four and the only female out of her siblings. Beginning her writing career at age 12, she wrote fanfiction of her favorite television shows and movies and created original stories alongside her three brothers. She became drawn to the fantasy genre and magical systems through television and that became her favorite genre to write about. She went on to author poems and short stories in which she won awards for. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology degree and currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing, she considers writing an escape from reality and where she shines to be her true and authentic self. If she isn't writing, she spends time volunteering in hospitals, collecting crystals, and eating both Italian and African dishes.

Been reading this one for a while on the NovelFlow appt. Finished book one but it keeps going in to the next book. So I'm not really sure where I finished but there is no more chapters. So there might be another book but I cant find it. But what I read of the next book(s) was good.
