I (Marii Solaria) am an African American woman born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, in the wonderful neighborhood of Uptown, to Malian immigrants. I am the second child out of four and the only female out of my siblings. Beginning my writing career at age 12, I wrote fanfiction of my favorite television shows and movies and created original stories alongside my three brothers. Eventually, I became drawn to the fantasy genre and magical systems through television, which became my favorite genre to write about. Throughout high school and university, I went on to author poems and short stories, for which I won awards. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology degree and a Master of Science in Nursing, and currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) for Mental Health/Psychiatry, I consider writing an escape from reality and where I shine to be my true and authentic self. I love writing so much! If I'm not writing, I spend my time working as a Registered Nurse (RN), collecting crystals, and eating both Italian and African dishes.

Marii Solaria delivers a deeply emotional, gripping, and intensely dark fantasy romance in Untouchable. Kiya’s journey is absolutely heartbreaking. Watching her endure the cruelty, betrayal, and false accusations from the Zircon Moon pack was incredibly difficult to read, but it made her ultimate evolution so much more impactful. Though she suffers, her journey is not one of pity, but resilience and strength.
What makes this book stand out is how the author balances raw human trauma with complex werewolf politics. The contrast between the toxic environment of her old pack and the sanctuary she finds within the Garnet Moon pack is masterfully written. Kiya's healing isn't a magical overnight fix; she has to actively battle her lingering darkness while navigating a high stakes, forced alliance that brings her face to face with her former captors.
The pacing flows beautifully and the constant psychological suspense kept me turning the pages. It is a powerful story of survival and reclaiming your power amidst cutthroat pack dynamics. This story pulled out so many emotions for me. Each character felt nicely fleshed out and their own independent journeys fed so beautifully into the main story.
I loved that this story was thought provoking and encouraged me to see issues from different perspectives. Central issues were not simplistic or black and white and there was no pretty or clean solution.
I highly recommend this book and cannot wait to experience the rest of the journey!

This book WILL make you cry, smirk, joyful, and depressed. It is a book that shows what overcoming mental struggles truly looks like. I really enjoyed the fact that the FMC was not willing to just forgive and forget, as most fated mates books are. She learns her inner strength and how to overcome the challenges of everything she’s had to survive!!

I read the first edition of this book years ago, on a serialized novels platform, and I jumped at the chance to be an eARC (Advance Reader Copy) reader. It's one of those books that has remained with me, in the back of my mind, regardless of how much time has passed, and I wanted to see how the story has changed and how much it stayed the same.
And let me tell you, Marii did not disappoint. The way she describes the feeling of utter loneliness and going beyond despair is heartbreakingly beautiful.
The journey to recovery is a long and oftentimes difficult one, the body and mind taking their time to recover from deep and continuously inflicted trauma, and this author shows the agonizingly slow steps, the setbacks, but also the small victories that pave the way to recovery.
The world might be fictional, but werewolves have a human part that is going through some very real and relatable emotions. This book is a testament that reading fiction can teach very valuable lessons in empathy, allowing us to experience some difficult situations from a comfortable distance and understand what others might go through without having to live the traumatic events ourselves.
Books like these are what reading is all about, for me. Learning and understanding and going through a life journey that I wouldn't be able to experience on my own, nor would I want to.
Sure, there are werewolves and the Moon Goddess and magic, but there's also the humanity that surrounds us, with all its aspects, heartwarming or awfully bad.
The number of times I cried while reading parts of this book is proof of the author's talent at writing scenes in such a way that they become extremely vivid in my mind, despite knowing the story and the FMC's story arc.

I really enjoyed Untouchable! It had everything I look for in a paranormal romance: magic, shifters, mystery, and just the right amount of romance to keep me hooked. The world-building was immersive without feeling overwhelming, and I found myself wanting to learn more about the Celestial Avatar universe as the story unfolded.
The characters were easy to become invested in, especially the strong female lead. I appreciated that she wasn’t perfect but was determined and capable, making it easy to cheer her on. The chemistry between the main characters felt natural, and there were plenty of moments that had me smiling or eager to see what would happen next.
The only reason this wasn’t a five-star read for me was that the pacing felt a little uneven at times. A few scenes seemed rushed, while others could have used a bit more depth. I also would have loved to spend more time getting to know some of the side characters.
Overall, this was a captivating read! If you’re a fan of paranormal romance with unique supernatural lore, strong characters, and plenty of intrigue, I’d absolutely recommend giving Untouchable a try.

When I say this book checked all the boxes for me, I mean it. Untouchable is exactly the kind of shifter romance I love engaging, emotionally driven, and packed with enough tension to keep me turning the pages.
Marii Solaria has created a story that feels incredibly well thought out. The characters pulled me in from the start, and the world building blended seamlessly into the romance without ever feeling overwhelming. Every chapter left me wanting just one more, and before I knew it, I had flown through the book.

This story is so relatable to so many of us. it's the under dog story we never knew we needed. I laughed, cried, felt angry nd. whole host of other emotions while reading this story. It is gripping from page one! a definite must radar.. I am looking forward to the other books in this trilogy. Good Work on the Author for giving such in depth characteristics and making you feel everything!!

I have read this book years ago, when it was on an app and it had shook me! So when I saw that it was going to be published I lost my mind! It is a veeeerrryy big book but trust me when I say that the story keeps you at the edge of your seat at every page! We have angst, betrayal but my favourite: a badass heroine that literally rose from the ashes and become her best self!

Been reading this one for a while on the NovelFlow appt. Finished book one but it keeps going in to the next book. So I'm not really sure where I finished but there is no more chapters. So there might be another book but I cant find it. But what I read of the next book(s) was good.
