Yoshimura's Ghost: Memories of Rural Japan

Rate this book
When an American educator leaves behind everything she knows and moves her young son and husband to rural Japan, her life takes on a deeper new meaning as she navigates a new culture, job, and family life. Living in a small town in Japan proves to be an eye-opening, heartfelt journey.
Previously published and newly revised, these linked essays solidify the connections to what it means to an outsider, how the cost of belonging is more than it seems, and why the journey brings us home.
