I was kind of skeptical to check this book out from our library since the television show is so very hyper. My two special needs teen age sons really like the show (although they don't get to watch it often)so thought I would get the book. It is a really nice one and not very hyper at all. Timmy wishes it could be Christmas every day and so the fairies have to give that to him (and everyone else) BUT when he wishes it's not anymore the fairies can't do it because they don't have any magic left because on Christmas Eve all the fairies give Santa all their magic so he can do what he needs to do. With Timmy knowing what he needs to do and the help of all the kids he saves Christmas.
