The Fortian Empire falls in one night. Years later, a council of the northern kingdoms calls for an expedition to discover the fate of the distant continent. They offered riches. Then lands. After months, they included furnished homes and horses of quality stock. Finally, they declare any volunteer may name their price. Within hours, a ferrelf steps into the council's chamber and asks, "May I receive the reward before I depart?" The council agrees. The ferrelf says, "May I have a boat?"
