A very cute and charming prologue with the long history of a wide cast of characters relayed as well as snippets of humour.

It does end a little abruptly. But since it is a prologue, readers wanting more luckily will be able to get it. I like Aine Dyer's writing style.

So many great memories written about new and old friends. Some friends are better than relatives in this story. A lot of love, sharing, and grief is handled well too
