Inside your skull is your brain. No part of your body is more important. Your brain is what you think with. It tells you what to do, and how to do it. Without it you could not learn or remember or feel or move.
Paul Showers describes how the brain operates, how it connects with every part of your body, and what can happen to change the way it works. His direct and simple style, combined with Rosalind Fry's lively drawings, makes Use Your Brain an exciting introduction to a most complex subject.
Well, I like this series, but the big anti-drug push in this book was kind of annoying. Teach kids about brains, don't tell them all about drugs. There are like six pages just all about drugs.
