There are love stories where two people meet by chance. They fall in love and capture something special people would die to experience- Loving each other until the end of time. For us, the end was never clear, but the song of our time together is a story where passion meets destiny, and love connects two kindred souls. This is our ballad. The ballad of Juke and J.C.
T.K. Richards is a former musician turned novelist, and the youngest of ten children from Charleston, SC. T.K. followed in her father’s footsteps as a musician, but quickly learned she held a passion for words and storytelling. The Poet Laureate from Burke High School, and Limestone University graduate enjoys sharing her love of women's fiction, romance, and love stories as a multi-genre author.
3.5 ⭐️Juke was my first read from this author and it was pretty good but different. I liked the way the characters came together; a one night stand turned into a quick bond. I felt the characters wanted the same thing but the timing was off and it was all built on a lie. The story is really fast paced with a lot of moving parts. I was all into the story and then things took a turn that I didn’t expect. I was hoping there was a huge misunderstanding but nope🫠😔overall, I thought the story was entertaining but I didn’t feel like I got closure in the ending. I would have liked more of Juke on the football field and a conversation at the end.
“I realized I didn’t know this person giving me unbeknownst pleasure. I only knew a version of him. A fraction of the man he pretended to be. And yet, I still found myself in love with him. But miraculously no longer stupid for him.”
