The story started out with promise, but with it being only a short story, there was no wonder, no curiosity with a more drawn out plot. The "romantic suspense" was barely there. And the resolution to the sum of money Zoe "owed" was way too quick given the build up. Personally, I think if this story was longer, it would hold more promise and deliver it.
