Head Over Feels

There are two things I can’t get out of my head. My completely inappropriate feelings for my stupidly hot best friend, Keegan, and a vacuum. Right now, the vacuum is taking the front seat. It’s the key for landing a major client—and the only way I’llfinally prove that I’ve been the creative mastermind behind my ad team’s success. Nothing—not even my embarrassing stutter—is going to get in my way.

Putting myself in the team’s spotlight also puts me on my ridiculously hot CEO’s radar. How am I supposed to navigate a lifelong stutter, my boss’s unexpected interest, and Keegan staring in all of my nighttime fantasies, all while nailing the biggest pitch of my career? Head Over Feels is a laugh-out-loud, single POV, friends to lovers rom-com featuring a hilarious squad of friends, a swoony slow burn, and a heart-felt HEA for a woman who thinks she has it all figured out.

I listened to this ALC about a month ago and completely forgot to come and tell you about it! I honestly do not know why I’m like this! LOL *sigh* Alrighty, let’s bullet point the greatness that is Head Over Feels!

✅ I love that this story is all from Meg’s perspective, yet the author chose a duet performance for the audio! It was the absolute best! *heart eyes*

☑️ Meg’s speech difficulty felt more genuine because of the narration so I have to say, even though I haven’t “read” the book, that the audio version would get my vote as preferred format. It’s not often that a format sticks out for whatever reason so I like to point it out when it does. :)

✅ These two, Amanda Stribling & Grayson Owens, dueted the heck out of this story and made me ridiculously happy at every turn! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

☑️ The whole ”I’ve had a crush on you forever” plot-point was introduced at the beginning and that made the story all about their growth from friends to more without wasting any time! LOVED THIS!

✅ I found the story extremely entertaining and well thought out. I’ve never experienced this author’s work before and I’m happy to report that I’m looking forward to the time I’m with her words!

☑️ I love that this is also a journey of growth for Meg herself as an individual and not just a romance journey. It added depth to not just Meg as a character, but also the story itself!

✅I adored every single friend in the circle, and I hope we get many more stories in this universe (or maybe there already are stories … I shall investigate!) lol

I’m really glad that I took a chance on this author because I have a feeling, I’m going to get a whole lot of laughs with a side of huge heart when I start to read her backlist and isn’t that exactly why we love to get lost in romance fiction?! It is for me! <3

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 Duet narration—these two are fabulous!! What a clever idea to turn this one into a duet narration audiobook—first person single POV. It’s so good when Grayson Owens pops in on the conversations. Audiobook lovers, give this one a try! I feel like it’s the first of its kind!
🤩 The stutter representation is written so beautifully and, wow, Amanda Stribling performs the character of Meg so well.
🤩 “You’re cute when you’re brainstorming.” How Keegan gently lets his feelings show.
🤩 Best friends to lovers.
🤩 Secret pining & dreams.
🤩 The jealousy mixed with surprising crush comment & reaction.
🤩 Best friend colored glasses.
🤩 That first kiss! Yessssss, the splash of fake!!
🤩 Apartment keys, macarons & lattes.
🤩 I’m a sucker for a gala.
🤩 Curvy girl & great characterization.
🤩 Amazing friend group!
🤩 The f-it moment! Keegan, I adore you.

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 More time at Hung Out to Dry.
💫 More texting would have been fun, especially with the added duet narration!
💫 The secret identity scene—I’m not sure I liked Meg there.
💫 I’m not sure I loved Meg’s day after attitude.

You can literally cut the sexual tension in this book with a knife. Haven't we all been there though? We've thought there's no way Mr. Hot Stuff could possibly want to be with us that we can't even see his feelings when he's blasting them from rooftops. It's got to be in our imaginations. This friends to lovers story is cute and at times frustrating. I wanted to grab and Meg and scream "go get that man!" I tremendously enjoyed this book.

Head Over Feels
By Emma Lee Jayne
Narrated by Amanda Stribling, Grayson Owens

Fun! That is exactly what this romance is! It's my first Emma Lee Jayne book and I enjoyed it! A friends to lovers, this is the perfect weekend listen. Meet Meg. Highly independent and a friend who will go above and beyond, she is always working hard. Her best friend Keegan owns a bar, and though from a wealthy family, Meg would never take advantage of him. Her strong ambition has her constantly working, trying to be seen and when she finally gets the chance to shine, things go awry. She has promised Keegan to attend a party when she should be working. Seeing her handsome boss, Reed, there too just adds a flirty wrench in the mix. She's Keegan's date, and being wooed by her boss is not what he had in mind. Where does this couple go? I loved everything about this. Keegan is sweet and has the best intentions when it comes to Meg. Meg is a tough nut, very proud and does not want help. Her heart is huge. Emma Lee Jayne has a winner on her hands!

Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens are our storytellers, and they are fabulous. Stribling brings all the emotions out in the strong personality of Meg. She works through her speech impediment and gave me all the feels. Owens is Keegan, and he is warm, and wonderful. I love these two together, they narrated hours of entertainment and I enjoyed it!

I loved this author’s SmartyPants Romance books and have been trying to fit in her other books. When I got the chance to listen to this one on audio, I jumped on the chance! And boy was I glad I did! There was so much fun silly little stuff in the story, banter, things that happened, all the reasons I’ve adored the other books I’ve read by this author. I also totally got how she felt about wanting to be a different person, although while her reason was her stutter, mine is maybe for my insecurities. I also had the same kind of experience with speed dating! So I get it.

I connected a lot with Meg, but I did get a bit frustrated with her and how she didn’t quite give Keegan a chance in some ways towards the end. Also how she tried to be secretive with her identity when it didn’t seem her boss realized it was her after the makeover. There was no way that wasn’t going to explode. But I liked the way it played out completely different than I expected. And there was the misunderstanding that also made me cranky. Although I wondered about a bathroom confrontation, that didn’t show up even in the spot it might have in another story.

The narrators were perfect. It was duet narration even though we really only got Meg’s point of view. Which was nice, even if I would still love to have Keegan’s POV too.

Once again this author has won me over with wonderful characters, dialogue, situations, and romance. Definitely a recommended listen/read from me!

A wonderful, fun and entertaining friends-to-lovers story. This story was told from Meg’s POV - maybe we can get a short story/epilogue from Keegan’s POV. Lol

Keegan and Meg are best friends but they both have been holding back their feelings - their biggest fear is they will ruin their friendship. This story is full of laughs, misunderstandings and trust.

Meg is trying to land a big contract that will change her career, she has a crush on her boss, is stressed out and is still trying to figure out her true feelings for Keegan.

Keegan is patient, a bit jeleous is Meg’s crush and also trying to figure out what to do with his feelings for Meg.

There is great dialogue, laughs, banter and sweet moments. I love how Meg came into her own and fought for what she wanted…personally and professionally. A fun and fantastic read!

Updated 11/28/24 audiobook review- Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens delivered a fantastic performance! They gave each of the characters perfect voice, emotion and personality. I read the book and really enjoyed it…Love how narrators take authors words and give a whole new experience to enjoying an authors words.

I literally was hooked on the first line. But when you start a novel quoting Jane Austen you have some mighty big shoes to fill. And let me tell you Head Over Feels fill them! Meg is your average girl working your average job but with a hottie BF and hottie boss. Some signals get a little crossed and her emotions and feelings are changing for both her boss and her BF.
Really there is nothing better than a friends to lovers done right and this book has done it perfectly. And although this book is a romance it’s more about Meg finding herself and her friendships.
And are we going to see more of her gang of misfits (or at least Reb and maybe rumpled suit lawyer??)

Whoa!! I had no (perhaps low) expectations going into this book, but goodness me did it deliver.

Tension from the first page, high-strung in the best possible way… Meg and Keegan were it for me! I kept giving an out loud commentary and even screamed at the book at times, ha!

Such a good read!!

(There were some spelling issues and double paragraphs that I would assume would not be in an ARC, but the book was too good to deduct stars for that.)

I received an ARC of this book (thanks!) and these are my own opinions.

Head Over Feels is one of those books that is the best kind of surprise. And absolutely meant to be listened to. You start out expecting a funny, steam little rom-com, hopefully friends to lovers by the end, but what you get is so much more and so very satisfying.

Meg “Glasses” Demeo and Keegan hotter-than-the-law-should-allow McQuade have been best friends for ten years; they met when Meg was locked out of her room wearing only those glasses and a towel. They lived together for three years in college but the Friendzone has tall walls. Yes, of course she was attracted to him at the beginning. What woman with eyes, a pulse and a heart wouldn’t be. But she stomped those inappropriate feelings out right away. Keegan isn’t only handsome and hot, he’s a good guy – and from one of Austin’s best, richest, most well-connected families. Meg has glasses, a more than occasional stutter, and was raised with two sisters by a single mother, isn’t model thin, and has to work hard to make ends meet. She knows she’s smart and very good at her job in advertising, but she also knows her place in her friendship with Keegan, and if she wants to remain close to him she needs to stay in her proper role.

But maybe Meg doesn’t know as much as she thinks she does. Keegan is in her life a lot, and maybe she takes it for granted or maybe she’s just worked hard to keep any stray feelings corralled, but she misses a lot of little signs and hints that are delightful for the listener. It’s clear Meg is important to Keegan, and it’s also clear something is frustrating him.

From inspiration for an ad campaign coming from a daydream she had where her mind temporarily slipped into the Keegan Forbidden Zone to a hilarious makeover process where she tries to assume the persona of a strong female (does Sasha the cat count??) and lose the stutter to make a smashing presentation and climb that career ladder to a maybe crush on her boss and a couple of unusual encounters with said boss while she’s wearing her Sasha disguise to a surprisingly amazing gala event where she starts the evening as Keegan’s purely platonic plus one, turns into Cinderella, becomes confused, misunderstands and . . . well, that’s as far as I’m going to go. You’re going to have to listen to the rest of this fairy tale yourself.

Author Emma Lee Jayne’s great word building, scorching heat that sneaks right up on you, laugh-out-loud inner dialogues and equally funny face-to-face interactions, a perfect, varied, goofy group of friends and family to surround Keegan and Meg, and the ability to wring many happy and sad tears from you will keep those headphones clamped firmly over your ears until the more-than-you-could-hope-for ending.

Narrator Amanda Stribling is chirpy, rambles on like Meg would do and is an amazing voice in my ear as always, bringing Meg to life. When Stribling gives Meg voice to refer more than once to Keegan’s “familiar scent – woodsy, spicy, everything comforting and wonderful” you know in your heart Meg’s inner mantra of he’s-not-hot-I’m-not-attracted-best-friends-is-the-best-thing isn’t quite working like she hoped. Stribling makes Meg frustrated, scared, determined, embarrassed, sad, angry – and joyful. Oh, so joyful

Grayson Owens, a new-to-me narrator, is smooth, sexy, and sensual whatever he’s saying. even when doesn’t mean to be. Sometimes male narrators have trouble whispering so what you hear in your head when you read and what you hear in your headphones when listening to the book aren’t always the same. But man, oh man can Owens whisper. Makes your toes curl. And in Head Over Feels you can hear his attraction and love for Meg right from the start of the book, even when he’s trying to be casual, and his frustration at being so far into the friendzone and his fear that he’ll never really have her come through loud and clear. And his emotions later, and voicing those emotions . . . well, wow. Just wow.

Thanks to Home Cooked Books for providing an advance listening copy of Head Over Feels. To say I loved it would be an understatement. I voluntarily leave this review. All opinions are my own.

Delightfully Entertaining! Great Story & Narration🎧

Head Over Feels
By: Emma Lee Jayne
Narrated by: Amanda Stribling, Grayson Owens

This wonderful friends-to-lovers romance is a romantic comedy that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. This is my first book written by Emma Lee Jayne and I enjoyed her writing style and her way with words. Her characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they were easy to care about and root for, too. Meg, the lead character, is a strong independent woman, focused on her career and is determined to not let her speech impediment ruin her presentation for a big ad campaign and the chance to be the lead for it at the company she works for. With the help of her friends, she comes up with a plan to overcome her strutter and to build more confidence. Meg and Keegan have been good friends for a while now, and she used to crush on him, but never acted on that crush because she did not want to change the way things were between them or risk their friendship, despite never feeling that same spark with anyone else. And one kiss between them confirms those sparks, and she is unsure what to think and it stirs up her insecurities. There was a great chemistry between Meg and Keegan, but Meg, being her own worst enemy, fought it every step of the way, though Keegan, who was a sweetheart, did not give up on her. There was never a dull moment in his wonderfully plotted story, and there was a perfect balance of drama, angst, humor, witty dialogue, heartfelt emotions, and a slow burn romance worth waiting for. Emma Lee Jayne, thank you for this delightfully entertaining story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying. Their character voices were fitting while showcasing every aspect of their personality, with Stribling acing it as Meg, strong, determined and fierce and Owens’ Keegan sweet and swoon worthy, the perfect book boyfriend. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These two made a great team, with voices and talent that complement each other and a performance that elevates the story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Overall Thoughts: As previously stated, if you saw my currently reading post, I requested this book purely off the fact that Grayson Owens was narrating. When I when to start it and saw that it was single POV, I got a little nervous and that is typically not my go-to, but with this being my first book by Emma as well as first book narrated by Amanda Stribling, I wanted to give it a fair shot, and boy did it surprise me in the best possible way. I will say this is not my typical book in that it has very little spice, that said, the story and the banter are top notch. This is also an extremely slow burn, but worth it in the end. So many great tropes and really good dialogue. If you need a pick-me-up (and let’s, be honest, who doesn’t), you should pick this up as soon as it drops on Nov 19.

Narration: Duet narration, first-person present tense, single - POV (FMC’s) some flashbacks/memories.

Tropes: Best friends to lovers, rom-com, slow burn, ad agency creative, bar owner, crush on boss, Princess Diary’s type make-over, college friends, they don’t know the other crushed on them, stutter rep, alternate persona, quirky/funny female friend

Overall: 4.5
Spice: 2
Humor: 3.5
Drama: 2.5
Darkness: 1
Narration: 4.5

Meg is putting in the extra effort at work, trying to impress her boss, and secure the account in the hopes of getting a promotion and being able to lead her own team. Her best friend for over a decade Keegan is supportive and the two have a great friendship especially now that Meg isn’t dating her loser ex.

One evening Meg heads over to Keegan’s apartment for a night of hanging out, when she sees him in the hall, he has a leggy model hanging on him. Unexpectedly, Keegan walks up to Meg and kisses her to the point of rendering her mute and unable to process everything.

This sends Meg into a bit of a tailspin, but also helps to produce the best pitch of her career. Hilarity ensues when the two friends continue to be there for each other, but Meg is now reading into everything that Keegan says and does, and it all comes to a head on the night he takes her to a gala for his family’s company. By the end of the night the two friends reveal secrets and truths that the other has been holding onto for years and could irrevocably change their relationship forever.

This was the first book I have listened to by Emma Lee Jayne. I always go into books not knowing what they are about and I'm so glad I did. I had such a great time listening to this book. The narrators Amanda Stribling & Grayson Owens did a great job telling this story. I felt like they held my attention and kept me entertained throughout the book. Meg is a highly independent woman that will go above and beyond and is always working hard. I could relate to this character so much and I love when I can do that! Her best friend Keegan owns a bar and is from a wealthy family. Meg never wants Keegan to think she would take advantage of him. Keegan only wants the best for Meg but she sometimes stands in her own way. Meg starts falling for her boss even though he's not the one she truly wants she just doesn't see it. This is such a sweet friends to lovers romcom. I had a great time getting to know both Meg and Keegan. I loved how much he loved her for who she was stutter and all. This book will have you laughing, smiling and swooning. I thought the characters and the story were well written and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this book.

Thank you Home Cooked Books for allowing me to listen to the ALC for my honest opinion.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:

Story -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice -🌶🌶
Narration -❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Head Over Feels is a delightful romantic comedy from a new author for me (which I love to find!). Meg and Keegan have been best friends for years enjoying movie nights, being each other's plus one to functions, and a shoulder to cry on when life gets tough. Unfortunately Meg has had to settle for the friend zone with her unrequited feelings. When she gets the opportunity to pitch an important marketing idea to a high value client, her best girls and Keegan get onboard to help her with a "makeover". Meg's younger boss is also a distraction with his sudden attention and praise. I love a story with characters that are real, relatable, and could possibly be in my family or friends circle with their witty and sarcastic banter. The author gives us a friends-to-lovers, fake relationship, angsty. and steamy gem from a single POV (Meg). I did find Meg's inner struggle with Keegan being just a friend kind of repetitive (-star for me), but the plot did progress at a great pace throughout the story.

The narration was fantastic! Grayson Owens and Amanda Stribling are favorite narrators for me, so I knew this was going to be good...and they didn't disappoint. Love these two...5/5 stars!!

🎧Audio/ebook Review🎧
Narrated by Grayson Owens & Amanda Stribling

This is a duet narration from Meg POV. It’s cute, funny and entertaining. Both Meg and Keegan have pined for each other since college, but keeping their friendship come first. Meg put those desires away thinking he would never want someone like her. She’s shy and struggles with a stutter when she’s nervous and self-conscious, which makes her move up the ladder at work harder

I almost want to put this in women’s fiction as it was more about Meg facing what she sees as shortcomings and standing in her power. The romance was pretty much non-existent, with hardly any scenes with her and Keegan until the middle of the book. I really wanted more page time with Keegan and Meg as I really loved them together. But in the end, I really enjoyed how they finally come together and confess their love.

I loved Grayson Owens narration. He really showed Keegan’s unrequited feelings for Meg. And oh boy, does he dirty talk so well. Amanda Stribling narrates Meg with a great southern accent. She convincing in expressing Meg’s emotions as she struggles through her work life and her pining for Keegan.

Emma Lee Jayne's friends-to-lovers romance is a charming romantic comedy that effortlessly captures your heart from start to finish. As my first encounter with her work, I was thoroughly impressed by her writing style and her talent for creating relatable, well-rounded characters. Meg, the protagonist, is a determined and independent woman striving to overcome her speech impediment and seize a career-defining opportunity. Her friendship with Keegan, filled with unspoken feelings and undeniable chemistry, adds an engaging layer of tension and growth to the narrative. The story beautifully balances drama, humour, and heartfelt moments, making for a compelling read.
The audiobook adaptation, brought to life by Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens, adds another dimension to the experience. Their performances capture the essence of the characters, enhancing the story with their emotional depth and synergy. Together, they deliver a captivating and entertaining rendition that elevates Jayne's already delightful tale.

***ALC REVIEW***

Plot: 5/5
Narration: 5/5
Spice: 2/5

This was SUCH a delightful audiobook. This starts as a light, steamy rom-com and transforms into a deeply satisfying story.

Meg and Keegan have been best friends for ten years, ever since she got locked out of her room in a towel. Despite Meg’s initial attraction to Keegan—handsome, wealthy, and well-connected—she firmly friend-zoned him, believing she was out of his league.

Emma Lee Jayne’s writing shines with laugh-out-loud dialogue, sizzling chemistry, and heartfelt moments. The rich supporting cast of quirky friends and family adds depth, and the emotional payoff is everything you could hope for.

Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens elevated this story. Stribling perfectly captured Meg’s humor, vulnerability, and determination, while Owens’ smooth, toe-curling whispers conveyed Keegan’s longing and love from the start. Their performances brought these characters and their emotions vividly to life.

Thank you HomeCookedBooks and Emma for the ALC!

Audiobook Review: Head Over Feels by Emma Lee Jayne

Rating: ★★★★☆

“Head Over Feels” delivers a charming friends-to-lovers narrative, filled with humor and relatable struggles. The story centers on a young woman juggling her feelings for her incredibly attractive best friend, Keegan, while navigating the pressures of her career. I found myself wishing the main characters had recognized their feelings for each other earlier in the plot; the build-up felt a bit lackluster at times. However, the witty dialogue and engaging premise kept me invested.

The dual narration by Grayson Owens and Amanda Stribling was a highlight of the experience. Both narrators brought the characters to life with distinct voices and an infectious energy that enhanced the comedic moments. Their chemistry made the story’s emotional beats even more impactful, drawing me into the characters’ journey.

Overall, while the pacing could have been tighter, the delightful narration and the lighthearted, heartfelt story made “Head Over Feels” an enjoyable listen. Perfect for fans of rom-coms looking for a fun escape!

I received this ALC for an honest review. I like to thank Home Cooked Books.

Amanda Stribling & Grayson Owens are the narrators for Emma Lee Jayne’s Head Over Feels. This audiobook is in duet style. Amanda & Grayson really connected to these characters & did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life. This is my first book of Amanda’s. She was amazing as Meg. She captured Meg so perfectly. Especially with Meg having a stutter. Grayson was the perfect Keegan. Keegan is so sweet & charming & Grayson captured him flawlessly. I loved the chemistry between Amanda & Grayson. With this being in a single POV, the duet narration worked perfectly.
I loved Emma’s writing. It was a witty, fun, and a cute friends to lovers story. I loved the friendship between the two and she developed their relationship so well. I was really entertained with this audiobook and it was something I didn’t know I needed.

Meg has been best friends with Keegan for over a decade however she is independent and does not want to rely on him especially since she is financially struggling, and he was raised in an affluent lifestyle and now owns a successful bar.

She works in marketing and is determined to overcome her challenges when it comes to speaking however, she does not always see her true worth. She now finds herself trying to balance the crush she had on her boss, her changing relationship with Keegan while trying to decide what she truly wants.

Meg’s personality is quirky while Keegan is her perfect match as his calm and supportive demeanor is exactly what she needs. The story includes humor, a little angst, and a journey of self discovery for Meg. Amanda Stribling depicts the insecurities of Meg perfectly while Grayson Owens shows that Keegan is a man that any woman would be lucky to have.

This was such a fun romance read / listen. A best friends to lovers sweet with a little heat romance with our main characters being Keegan and Meg. Keegan is rich and attractive, and Meg is attractive but not so rich. Meg makes it clear from the beginning that she feels she is way out of Keegans league but there are subtle hints that make you suspect Keegan may not feel the same way. I did find it odd that these two have been friends for going on 10 years and Meg hasn't really met or knows Keegans family - that said, Meg gets multiple eye opening sicarios, the last from another bestie who gently but firmly tells her how it is and I love her for it. Some laughs, some swoons and the best of HEA's!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.

Head Over Feels is a best friends to lovers mixed with a dash of love triangle. Meg met her best friend Keegan in college. He rescued her from the embarrassment of being locked out of her dorm, in a towel. She was attracted to Keegan but thought he was way out of her league. Keegan comes from a wealthy family. Now fast forward several years. They have remained friends. Meg works for a marketing company. Keegan asks Meg to attend a gala with him. Keegan wants to buy her dress, but Meg says no. Meg is completely oblivious that men find her attractive. She has no clue that Keegan and her boss have been flirting with her. It was great to see who Meg finally ended up with.

Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens did a fantastic job narrating this book in duet style narration.

That was so stinking cute! I absolutely adored Keegan and Meg in this nest friends to lovers story.

Meg was such a strong FMC and I loved her stutter representation. Watching her deal with her speech impairment while traversing other issues in the workforce was really interesting and well done. I loved all three of her best friends as they supported her and helped her find her way.

Keegan was a dream and even though I mayyy have rooted for Reed for 5 minutes, I was so happy to discover he really was the one for her. He was so sweet and I loved his dirty mouth.

This audio was so so good. Duet narration with Grayson Owens and Amanda Stribling. They did such a wonderful job narrating these two and their supporting cast and I loved listening to this book.

Audiobook: This was my first experience with this author's work, and I thought the story was entertaining. I was amazed by the single POV as I haven't read many stories written this way, but I enjoyed it. Second chances have often been one of my favorite tropes, and I thought that Keegan's and Meg's romance was charming. I liked the humorous moments and amusing dialogue which flowed throughout the tale. I was entertained by the dual narrations performed by Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens, and I felt that their performances enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given an advanced listeners' copy of the audiobook through Home Cooked Books. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this story.

I gave this a 3.5 cause I fell asleep a couple of times for only minutes. but what i heard i loved.

Head Over Feels is a friends to lovers romance. Meg & Keegan are wonderfully written characters, i liked all the characters. I liked this audiobook but i didn't agree about Sasha thing. Meg is the stuttering, shy girl and Keegan is the too nice rich guy, they are best friends.

the Sasha experience was cute, I can't believe what happened. I liked the charity fund raiser Meg and Keegan went to, I imagine Meg's make over made her very beautiful for the gala. Sometimes i wish i could be a book character and have the best life possible. Lame i know.

Amanda Stribling & Grayson Owens are new to me but I liked them. They did a glorious job voicing the whole world

Meg is the FMC in this story. She is strongly focused on her career and trying not to let her speech impediment get in the way. She has a big presentation for work which could make her the lead on the campaign.

Keegan is the MMC, Megs best friend who she has had a thing for. One “fake kiss” sends sparks for both.

It was a super cute read even though sometimes I got frustrated with Meg lol. So many cute heartfelt moments and a good friends to lovers slow burn!

Narrated by: Narrated by: Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens

Their voices were perfect in showcasing the personalities for each other these characters !

Meg works in advertising and is stressing about her latest project and if her stutter will hinder the outcome. All the while trying to keep her crush a secret from her best friend Keagan and what she thinks is a crush on her boss. Her friends try to help her with her stutter by creating another personality that does not have a stutter. Keagan thinks she is perfect how she is. Will he ever be able to convince her what is right in front of her, or will she choose her cute new boss?
Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens bring this story to life! I have heard Amanda a few times but Grayson Owens is new to me and is definitely becoming a favorite. I enjoyed this book by Emma Lee Jayne and look forward to reading more from her.

Meg and Keegan had been best friends since they met in college. She is shy, has a stutter, a lot of curves and leads a boring life. He is hot, rich and very popular. How can they be best friends if they had literally nothing in common? When Meg has to face a make over to make an important presentation at work, and attend a posh gala as Keegan’s date, something shifts between them. Or so she thinks. But reality is more often than not more that she hope for. A great story, with deep feelings, great freinds and so much more. The audiobook, with the dual narration between Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens is great

This is a wonderful friends to lovers romance. Both narrators performance was very enjoyable and really kept my attention. Meg and Keegan have a wonderful friendship and a very real connection even though they come from very different backgrounds. This book has lots of angst, humor and steam and is a relatable storyline with great characters. Meg has lots of growth and discovery before she gives in to what she has wanted all along. I love their well deserved HEA. Definitely a 5 star must read.
I was sent a free book from HCB and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

This friends to lovers romantic comedy was so much fun! I really loved Meg's character and all of her adorable, relatable quirks. The tension between Meg and Keegan was really well done. I was hooked from the beginning! This story is old solely from Meg’s POV, but the duet narration made this audiobook really interesting! Amanda Stribling and Grayson Owens was really well done and I loved that Meg’s speech difficulty was present in the audiobook as it really added to the experience.

This was my first book by Emma Lee Jayne. I enjoyed the friends-to-lovers story. It's written from Meg's point of view. The audiobook is narrated by Amanda Stribling & Grayson Owens. Grayson Owens was also new to me, but Amanda Stribling's voice always gives me warm fuzzies. They did a great job, and I'm sure I liked the story more because I listened to it.

I received the audiobook at my request, and the opinions here are my own.
