Sixteen-year old, Erin wants nothing more than to champion in the upcoming Irish Dance Competition. While seventeen-year-old, Michael, dreams of becoming a famous graffiti artist and exhibiting in New York City. When the two meet, sparks fly and soon Michael is helping Erin add a few passionate dance steps to her routine. But when all clues point to Michael as the criminal who destroyed her dress, Erin will have to decide if she is willing to risk it all and follow her heart.

About the author

Mindy Hardwick is a published memoirist, romance and children’s author. Her stories are often set in the Pacific Northwest and celebrate art and community. Mindy facilitated a poetry workshop in a juvenile detention and wrote about the experience in her memoir, Kids in Orange: Voices from Juvenile Detention. She enjoys teaching others about writing and she frequently presents workshops to schools and libraries. When she’s not writing, Mindy can be found art journaling and walking on the Oregon Coast beaches. She is a Little Free Library Steward in Cannon Beach, Oregon at Les Shirley Park.
