Rome and Lena, by chance meeting, but an undeniable love! Both hiding behind their careers, business before pleasure and relationships, but the chemistry was hard to deny. Lena mixed up with a drug lord and Rome being DEA, how was this supposed to work! The book kept me kept me on edge scared Lena's world would come crashing down before there collision became an explosive love story! Great read!!

Not what meets the eye….

4.5 ⭐️ Lena & Romero… their instant attraction was undeniable. Could it be, that pleasure can be before business? Hmm. This was a good story of two people who were about their business however, when it comes to matters of the heart… business must take a back seat. This story had suspense, tension, & spice. Can two people from two different worlds, make it when it’s all said and done or will their “jobs” interfere. When Romero eyes opened, I smiled BIG!

Lena and Rome meet by chance. A familiarity and sense of belonging seem to surround them from the start. Both career driven, find a sliver of hope in this fateful connection. But of course there had to be a twist. The climax had me on the edge of my seat. Good Story.

Because who you love is crazy sometimes crazy...

The story was a fairly accurate accounting for what happens when two people meet from different sides of the law. It is a good thing when the Good guys win. Every now and then, the other guy slips through. I was happy with Romeo's solution for his career as a DEA agent. And the thing with Lena was ironed out nicely. The story had a nice conclusion. 4.5 stars.

I enjoyed this book. These two bosses definitely collided. Romero and Lena's relationship was amazing until secrets came out. The betrayal from the ex was a twist I didn't see coming. I'm glad they got it together in the end cause Romero had me worried he was gonna choose his job over Lena. Overall this was a good read.

opposite sides come together

I loved this story, soul connection was there between Lena and Rome! They hit a rough patch of miscommunication and unspoken words but it all worked out because of the gift given them!

these two 😮‍💨

That connection between Rome and Lena was undeniable from the first time they met and I was here for it! Their love story, although rocky, was still really cute and I was rooting for them all the way. That plot twist with the informant though??? I SCREAMED. Then rolled my eyes bc I was ready to fight. All in all, this was a really good story. I love these two together ❤️
